I always have a hard time finding New books and New music.
Let's share.
New books, I routinely google best fantasy books of the last 10 years or of 2017 etc etc, trying to find new books.
The Fifth Season came up by N.K. Jemisin. I hadn't heard of her before and knew nothing of the Hugo controversies. I just picked it up from the book store and read it. Great book, The Obelisk Gate was just as good and waiting for either the Library or the local book store to get the Stone Sky so that I can finish the trilogy. Really liked it. Different. Some people have the power to start stop earthquakes and volcanoes and more.
Also, picked up a book at local book store. Liked the cover. Great book, well written and I'm on the second book now.
Theodora Goss The Strange Case of the Alchemists Daughter and the second book ..European Travel for the Monstrous Gentlewoman. Victorian England with Sherlock Holmes in a supporting role about the daughters of famous villians like Frankenstein, Van Helsing etc.

Google it at loudwire.... I get it's a video game, but she's really playing the chords/notes and solos! and Kate is so metal...she will be the end all of all metal.
