New Milestones Thread

I'm 40K words into a High Fantasy novel. She's the heroine, Hannah, The Wellsprung.

I’ll let my friend know. He’ll probably want to read that one after you publish.

And oddly, three new fans in the last month who have favourited over a dozen of my stories each, which is quite flattering, only probably it just means they don't know how Following works.

Very likely they bookmarked your stories, which shows up as favorited on your activity page.

Indeed, but I've never had anyone do that for more than a couple at a time, before!

Really, that’s how it works? I was often confused, when I’d see the notification and go to check what other stories the reader has favorited, only to not find mine on the list. I’d think it’s just yet another stale cache issue but this does make sense.

Anyone who says story titles aren’t important, doesn’t know wtf they are talking about. IMO that’s an all-time classic. How can someone not want to read it? Congrats.

It's just too catchy not to read!

Thanks! As soon as I came up with it I knew I had to use it. It makes absolutely no sense, of course, but still.

It took seven years, but today I picked up my thousandth follower.

Hell yeah! If anyone deserves more eyes on their work, it's you.

I managed to sit down and write roughly 4k words in a day yesterday. I've long struggled with productivity and procrastination and was real happy when I realized what I'd done.

There are few better feelings than when it just clicks and the words pour from your mind onto the page. Congratulations!

That’s awesome! There was a time not that long ago when I used to bust out that many words on occasion, but those days are few and far between now. Take advantage and ride the wave while you’re feeling it!

Have you checked the actual list? You might be there already. The counter often lags behind.

Woo hoo! 500 followers as of this morning. Thanks to everyone who took the time to read my stories.

One of my stories hit 50 favourites which is pretty cool since I had no intention on writing it

Finally passed the 100 follower mark. Took me a little while. I also finished the 10th 'chapter' of my writing which is something I had never thought I'd do.

Just left my 100th comment in the last 30 days (89 in lesbian, 5 in non erotic, 3 in reviews, 1 in poetry, 1 in romance, 1 in bdsm).

In my defence, I'm on holiday. (I've also read 7 novels, 1 collection of short stories and 1 collection of poetry in the same period).

Some people are clearly just built different.
