That's What Friends are for slipped into the #7 spot on the all time most favorited list. Most faved all time in the First Time category and highest faved non incest story on the site. The latter is a bigger accomplishment to me seeing how I/T dominates the site in many ways.

I think what Publius is saying is that they hope you have a better year and you can do other things besides writing (in response to what you wrote: "The thing was that I've been very sick all year, all I physically could do was write, I didn't leave the house for eight months").

In this context, calling some a unit is a person or thing that is very impressive.
There are other meanings but I didn’t infer try applied to what the OP intended.
