This thread will be used for posting frequently asked questions and for providing assistance so that they may have an enjoyable use of Literotica. details to come. I know there is a "how to" forum around, but I wanted to keep all of the things I put together on a smaller thread, and be able to include things which may be out of the "subject area" anywhere else. Example: How do you remove a small cylindrical object from deep in your woman's ass when she's got so excited that it went ALL THE WAY in. It's member help related because it addresses how to solve something, and it's adult related and lends it's discussion to be expounded on by others like we do at the Playground.

By the way, as far as the poll is concerned, if you stumbled across this community by way of seeking / reading stories (thank you Bug Eyed Monster), please include Just Wanted to Become Part of The Fun, i.e. Miscellaneous. Getting Started maybe you have advice on solving the following:

If the angle of the dangle is in direct proportion to the heat of the meat, then how do you apply the slop of the drip to help you slip into that climactic trip?

Sometimes its the helpers that need the help!!

Is the poll messed up, or once I voted myself, does it just take
me to the results? I think I set it to indefinite...

I.E. Members: When you access a thread that has a poll,
you may choose one or multiple choices if set up that way, and
vote according to your preferences. Once you have voted, you
cannot vote again (no self elections taking place here!), but
instead may return to view the results as you desire.

Why can't I choose to have an avatar/picture by my name?

Answer: Literotica Discussion Boards, like many others, have
certain capabilities set at various posting levels. For example,
once you reach 100 (thereabouts), you are considered Really
Experienced, i.e. you didn't just treat your visits as a joke, and
you are actively pariticipating in someway, and you may then
go to your Control Panel, choose Edit Options, and at the
bottom, select to have an avatar. These are usually .gif files
and must be no larger than 150 x 150 pixels, and no larger
than 20k. You can find these at a multiple of web sites, simply
by say, going to google and searching for the word avatar. Or
perhaps you already have some in mind. Select the avatar and
then do the submit modifications, and bingo, go to a post you
have already made and you will see your avatar as if it had
been there all along! Next.. pics in your posts.

When do I get to post pictures in my postings?

This too relates to the Really Experienced level. Once you reach
100 posts or more, you may then elect to attach pictures,
i.e., .jpg or .gif files to them. Keep in mind there are Literotica
Policies for all forums, and you need to read what those are
before you post them. I will link those policies right here, but
for convenience sakes, realize there are copyright considerations
and you should not post a picture that is explicitly under a
copyright infringement protection warning. Some sites allow you
to post a picture of theirs, IF, you are also willing to post their
logo, or give credit where credit is due for such, and I suggest
you contact a moderator by PM and ask of such before doing
anything that you are not certain of. Please aso be aware
that if you are going to post pictures of actual people that you
are only allowed to post your OWN picture, not your neighbors
wife (as much as I would like to see her ), and not someone
else here at Lit, and really, just use common sense, okay?

Why the hell am I a virgin...

I haven't been a virgin since the year 19??, when so and so and me...

Everyone who joins or ever joined Lit starts out as a virgin. This
newfound level of purity and innocence has its frustrations (and
some people really were frustrated to be actual virgins, if you
think about it!), and at the same time it's advantages:

a) People seeing you post will know that you are new to lit, or
at least do not post often. This can boost someones interest
level in getting to find out who this "new" person is. If you are
a female that is just getting into things, and not wanting to feel
pressured, this virginal state can allow you to thwart those that
appear to be overly anxious in getting to know you by saying
things such as "show us who you are, post a picture sweetie".

b) You are able to maintain a level of discretion as someone who
is simply curious about things, and not really fully blown into
everything all at once. Female virgins can really get into the
role so to speak, and be playfully flirtaceous, while at the same
time, having that "but I'm not sure I'm really ready" aura about
themselve. (prick tease !! JUST KIDDING! ) (One thing you
will find out about me The Duke, is I love to share my sense of
humor. [For example, below are some "virgin" type jokes].

The disadvantage is you can't post pics, or have an avatar. And
if this is something that you want, there are some very simple
resolutions that you can do to fix that REAL quick.

Speed 55 - 60 mph:
a) if you're in the mood to play/be wild with someone here that
you have an interest in, you may simply bring that to their attn
and most likely become involved in a role scenario with them,
posting back and forth, and the numbers rise, along with a few
other things , accordingly.

Speed 30 - 45 depending on traffic
b) You could join in a word association type game, and simply
play until you reach the desired # of posts, be aware that these
games are more active at certain times of the day/eve than
others

Speed from 0 to Fuckin' A I'm on the Audubon!:
c) You could start your own thread on anything, "Hey I'm having
a beer, care to join me", on up to "What attracts such and such
to do such and such, etc, and to this level, this is still up to
others to participate, or you may simply post, post, post to your
own thread (example hey I'm masturbating, care to read about
it as things progress?", and this is the VERY fastest way.

Now the "virgin" jokes:

What is the difference between a hockey goalie and a chastity belt? a. Well the goalie's job is to keep the puck out.

What do the goalie and the owner of the chastity belt have in common? a. They both have a "key" role in the "out-cum".

One item that could have been on your poll, would be started with the stories and just stumbled in here. thta's what happened to me.

This is a good idea. I think certain information should be in stickies or the FAQ because it is eaier to find there. I know there is a max pixel limit on pics, but I have forgotten what it is. The same for Av's

Greetings Bug Eyed Monster, and thank you much for your input. Speaking of pixels, it was your 1sexylady who got me on the right track as far as making my own pics in signatures work, and I am very thankful. I had been trying the right stuff, just not the right way. I learn something just about everyday.

For the avatars I know it is 150 x 150 pixels with 20K max, I believe for the pictures within posts, that the limit is 100K, and various shapes and sizes are allowed. Only experimentation will show what the pixel limitation would be.

I am still a virgin but have several (3 or 4) stories which only need tidying. Because of the nature of my stories and my own, I was hoping to find help from a bi-sexual or gay female editor. I am i guess an English male thistle because nobody seems to want to view my seeds. Should I skip the editing help and submit regardless? As an English Rose you will no doubt brighten the fog for me.

starkpic, well not being gay or bisexual or even an editor i may not be what you are looking for but i would gladly look over your stories for you if you'd like me too. Otherwise i think your best course of action would be to visit the editors forum and post a request for a volunteer editor there.
