New Lovecraft Award.

Its about the creativity of his acolytes.

Ahhh, was the guy an HPL fan?

No matter, tell you what though HPL influenced some pretty talented Acolytes

Part of his original Circle was Robert E Howard, Robert Bloch, Clark Ashton Smith, Lynn Carter.

Later generations were just as good. Brian Lumley, Ramsey Campbell, F. Paul Wilson

You can see his influence everywhere. Hell, even the Hellboy Movie had a great Lovecraftian flavor to it.

Lumley? Campbell? Laughing my ass off.

Sorry if you're to high brow for those two, but they have done damn well for themselves and Campbell's Goatswood stories are pretty faithful to HPL's Arkham.

If highbrow means 'interesting and scary' then I'm guilty as charged.

Then thrill me oh guru of horror. Give me some of your favorites. I'm looking for some new stuff to read.

I just hatched a new horror idea. What if, the Tea Baggers and Flea Baggers erupted in unprovoked, spontaneous violence against their own political leaders? What if no politician was safe?

Try some of Truman Capote's horror writing. I cant name one that isnt 1st rate.

MIRIAM. I think this is his 1st horror tale.

If you're REALLY up for horror, try reading the IRS tax instructions. (Remember, I warned you.)

I'll try to work my way up to that. Right now I'm reading up on the candidates for president. next year will be frightening indeed.
