Randolph "Randy" Cummings:
Randy had visited England on an R & R when in the US military stationed in Germany and fell in love with the country and it's people.
When he was honorably discharged, rather than taking it in the US as is normal, got his in England and remained there. He's now an expatriot American, or as the Brits call him, Yank.
Randy used his military and college to secure a position with a large corporation and is now a department head in the company. He'd married an English woman about a year after deciding to stay in England, but, sadly, she had died of untreatable lukemia just over a year ago leaving him a widower at a fairly young age.
His interest in athletics, particularly raquetball and squash with some weight lifting tossed in, has kept him in remarkable shape for his 38 year old age. The only sign of his advancing years is the touch of grey at his temples and sprinkled in his carefully trimmed moustache and beard.
He stolled over to her desk greeting and chatting with each of those under his supervision as he passed. Reaching her desk he gently rested his hand on her shoulder, gave it a soft squeeze as he said, "Good morning Sarah. I hope that your coping with
It was when he began to acclimate to the loss of his wife and look at women again in 'that way' he first noticed Sarah as something other than a co-worker and someone who was in his department.
Her pleasent and generally up beat personality had actually helped him through his period of grief as she never pitied him, but always tried to cheer him up a bit.
Soon he began to admire how she looked, she was very lovely and had an outstanding body under the corp uniform. Randy would watch as she moved about the office admiring the swell of her breasts or the unconscious sway and movement of her womanly hips and ass as she walked.
They remained casual friends, although he now lusted for more, since she was apparently very happily married and he didn't wish to jeapordize their friendship.
However, now her husband was off in South Africa at a new job that would pay them big dividends down the road, but it meant leaving Sarah alone for months at a time with only very short visits with her each quarter of the year.
Perhaps this was his chance to see if the friendship could become more and if their marriage was as happy and strong as he thought.
