New Lit Rules

We Interupt This Thread To Bring You This Important Bulletin From Our Sponsors:

DENVER - The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) announced today a stipulation between the parties in Free Speech Coalition et al v. Alberto Gonzales, under which the U.S. Department of Justice agrees that the regulations relating to the federal record-keeping and labeling law, 18 U.S.C. §2257, will not be enforced against plaintiffs and all FSC members until September 7, 2005.

The U.S. District Court in Denver will hold a preliminary injunction hearing on August 8, 2005, after which the judge will determine whether to issue a further injunction...

Over the course of the next few months, there will be continuing proceedings, so the Free Speech Coalition still needs your help. So keep those banners up until this all blows over. And if you don't already have one, have at it:

Wow, so this does mean that business, and pics, as usual here at Lit until Sept? Or just that action taken against individuals in violation is delayed?

They'll be too busy in court to do anything.

This is only the beginning.

Interesting, Brinnie, thanks for the update. :)
We'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out, I suppose...

Ya know, I surf around and look at a little, Ok maybe more than a little, porn and so far I ain't really noticed any restrictions on what I can see.
Tell that to the guy in AMPics who can't find his thread.

Brinnie, I think you might have the right idea about starting another board. Hubby and I were talking about this the other day. And I'm looking up info on it now.

Send me a PM or whatever.
Pampermint's says he'll help out with hosting. So naturaly, the next step is to get a vBulletin liscence.

Certainly keep us in the loop as well with what you find! I wish I had more knowledge on the topic of building a board and so on, but it's not my area of expertise, unfortunately.... I guess I am here for moral support?

I love lit, and I wouldn't want to abandon it. But, if you guys start a new board where I could transfer my more explicit pictures to, I would certainly be willing to join there, as well. :)

Ya, I hear ya. I just mean it's gonna take a lotta doin for em to shut down all the porn on the net.

that would be almost impossible.

However, many webmasters own 3-25 websites. Nail on, you nail them all.

My actual job is for a software company, working on the helpdesk for troubleshooting, installs, fixes on the software for our clients. But then, outside of work, I consider my main area of expertise to mainly be film music and film history, but also a good study on world religions, ancient history and science fiction/fantasy. So, whatever this is worth, it's part of me! :)

ATTENTION!

Those of you using my Photobucket to host your Free Speech Coalition banners, might noticed we've killed my bandwidth. :D

It's not all your fault, I've got em on other boards too. So I made an album just for Literotica:

Let's get those updated.
Need any help, drop me a line.

Well, I for one am completely saddened and disheartened at this news. Another favorite site of mine, adultdvdtalk.com, has to remove any and all similar pics, although theirs are for DVD releases, but still we can no longer browse through the pics to see what we might be purchasing. And now Lit? It's just too much. Not even masturbation pics - what the hell? Who's offended by that? I can't believe I have to say goodbye to pics of anal pleasure... :(

If Literotica made it mandatory for people who upload 'explicit' photos- to upload a photocopy of their ID with it- and kept them all on file...

We'd be fine!

Well, I have not had anyone assign me a research project in awhile, but I can certainly give it a go! :) I can use the resourses in my own library at home, plus whatever I can find online or elsewhere....

I don't really have special skills, but I'm willing to do whatever I can as well. :)
