Wontontorment, if you were wondering why the guys aren't kicking in your door and posting a whole bunch of comments on how amazing you look I may be able to help. Well not really but I have a suspicion that people think your faking it. Some people are really open and can shake what god gave em right off the bat but most people ease into it. A couple shots of them with their cloths on. Maybe a shot of them in a different setting with different cloths or stages of undress. Otherwise people think your yankin' their chain.

You haven't questioned why your post is rather barren so it seems like you aren't really interested in what people think of you contrary to you posting a poll and all. These are a few of the reasons why I think your not what you appear.

I'm trying to figure out the pasting of the nude professional picture onto the bedroom background.

Either the nude image is cut and pasted, or some very fancy work was done on the negatives to achieve the halo effect...

I'm guessing just cut and paste - as the depth and 3-d effect seems compromised somewhat.

I agree with you susan and texas that pic is as fake as a three dollar bill. If i want fake i would go to a pay site and i could get all of the fake that i could want. One should be confident enough with themselves to be able to post and not worry about what others think it what you think of yourself that matters. So with that i say give us the real deal.

Photo retouching

Clearly a professional shot.

But not necessarily a cut and paste sort of thing. Often it helps a photo to dodge and burn some of the subject to bring out elements which were originally murky. (as in this photo)

Aesthetically, it lends a nice touch to this image.

But this is not to offer any approval for a person claiming to be subject of a photo, when it is not the case.

Some people are pretty good at spotting things like this, and it's not looking good right now.

I've seen real pictures that had more of a halo than these do. Some people add that as an artistic effect.

We don't know this person and we WON'T know this person. They're beautiful pictures no matter how you look at it.

I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.

The fact that several of you are willing to give "Melissa" the benefit of the doubt is one of the things I love about the people here. But as one who has played quite a bit with a digital camera, I must agree, those pics are fake. You should see some of the pics of the guys!

I do not consider myself an expert in photography. As a managerial rule i trust the experts who manage to proove their judgement. Who is the expert then ? The photographer or the audience?

I reserve the judgement althgough in simple words it is too good to be true !!!!

I enlarged both pictures to 1600 times their original to compare pixels of Melissa with her background. The pictures have been touched up digitally. The bed in pic 2 has a "halo" along the top rail as well.

The only question that really matters anyway is if this is Melissa or not? And if the person in the picture is not the flesh and blood Melissa, but the real Melissa contiues to use her pen-body as others use a seudonym, so what.
