I'm from New England also.

Hi sister76. I've seen you around Lit., but I don't believe we're aquainted at all.

Pleased to meet you.

What part of NE are you from or near (if you don't mind telling of course)?

I spent a whole buncha years living in central Mass and moved to GA in 06. What a beautiful time of year is ready to begin up there -- I miss that part ... but not what comes afterward!

Just a hello and best wishes.

I'm from New England as well, though I'm an emigrant to the vast middle-wing conspiracy that is the midwest. I grew up 100 miles north of Kittery and 45 miles from the coast.

So then you deserted us.

You bet

I'm from Central Massachusetts my self.
Let's see...from the perspective of a Bostonian you could live anywhere between Newton and Ware. For someone from Springfield, I'm guessing that means within a 30 minute drive of Worcester.

Hello all! I see that the folks near the Mason Dixon line have a thread, so I thought I'd start this one.

To be perfectly honest with you as I'm writing this I'm wondering if there already is a New England thread. If there already is one, humblest apologies.

I'm from eastern Massachusetts - 15 minutes north of Boston and 1/2 mile from the beach.

Please feel free to stop in and say "hello".

I'm always happy to meet people, and especially happy to meet folks in my neck of the woods.

Somebody is trying to lure me from the land of bluegrass to up there.. yuz guyz mind if I stick my nose in?

Well, when are you coming back? I love Kittery. I was there just last week. It's absolutely beautiful.

I have seen the lovely state of Kentucky. It's beautiful, and I love Tennessee as well. One of my favorite memories is of driving over the Mississippi when I was eight years old, and sending my classmates in New Hampshire a postcard. As pretty as Kentucky is though, it doesn't have the ocean. http://www.techhelpers.net/e4u/animal/5.gif

Didn't you know that Kentucky has more running water than any other state in the Union except Alaska?

Do you mean like waterfalls, or that I'm supposed to look to my toilet for inspiration vs. the sea?
