New Embedded Audio - Your Feedback

Hi all,

For those of you familiar with the audio section of the site, you know that usually you click on the audio selection's title and it launches your Real Audio player. We recently have changed it so the audio player is embedded in the page. This should make it easier to listen to the stories. Because this is a new implementation of the Real player, please let us know if you have any problems with the new setup. Also, feel free to let me know if you like the new method of posting the audio stories better or worse than the old way.

Sounds great to me, but my soundcard died and I can't access the audio. If I ever get access to sound again, I will check it out.

It works well for me and so far I haven't even had any dropouts and I am halfway through Hecate's story... I have no idea on how it worked before so I cant help you there.

Laurel... anything you do works well and it seems that there arent any bugs in this thing... though I would like to download the story's audio (Not as a compulsury thing but an option).

Hi Laurel,

Had never checked out the audio section before so clicked on your imbedded hyperlink.

I noticed the volume varies quite a bit from story to story, but no big thing.

On one of the stories, net congestion caused buffering interruptions several times.

Oh, on the last story I looked at/listened to, I got a server limit has been reached message. When I closed the site to get back to your thread and hit the submit reply button, I got booted off of the site. Don't know what happened there.

Anyway, overall very nice.

Sorry, but I can't compare it to the previous setup.
