New Editor looking to help

Hey guys! I've been reading submissions on Lit for about a year and a half now and I'd love to do some editing for those in need. I am on literotica at least twice a day to read new and old submissions. I've never done any major editing before, only on papers for myself and friends, but I am very good at it. I am great with grammatical and spelling as well as structural issues. If I do see an issue with structure or needed characterizations or plot I will make a suggestion on how to improve upon these factors. I have a special interest in NonHuman, specifically were and vampire stories but I will edit anything from that category. I'm not comfortable editing extreme BDSM, Fetish, and Trans & Crosses b/c I'm not knowledgeable of those. Anything else is fair game. I would love to edit your stories!

May I suggest you wait until All Hallows day and post your offer in the "Available Editors - November 2008" thread which is supposed to appear then. Saint Lucanus day seems a little late to join the October list, though that has not deterred AsylumSeeker.

I'm not a fan of the genra but aside from a couple of errors where you didn't adequately convey what you were saying and probably a few commas. It was pretty good.

Still, you didn't convey the reason that the Princess was doing what she was doing. I know she is a "Dom" but why? Perhaps in the next chapter this will come out but it appears from the chapter that your interest is mearly describing the pain.

Try changing the font and size when you reread it outloud to get the POV of a reader. As an author you probably understand the words you left out, but the reader has no idea what you were trying to say.

I do this too, forget to type in a word or phrase as I am writting. Reading aloud helps find those missing elements and lets you hear the rhythem of the phrasing.

My mind asks why is this a story, there was no story there. I expected the big guard to be a part of the action. You introduced him but dropped him, why?

I'm no English grad so I can't comment on the fine details. I read a lot and think I have a good feeling for what is, or is not a story. This is a fragment.

I am trying to use outlines now to flesh out my free writting and put more story in. It can be difficult and frustrating but I think it helps me to create an ending that is more satisfing.
