About four months ago I signed for something like a competition designed by Psychology Department of the University of Michigan. Anybody with just a bachelor degree in any field was allowed to participate except for the present or former faculty members of any psychology department or professional psychologists. The 20 winners were promised a 6 month training (two 3-month terms), all kind of assistance, including free meals (at the building where you were supposed to study, even during the weekends!), with an obvious implied assumption that you were not coming just for meals. But never mind trivialities.
I had no idea at the time that thousands of us applied from around the States and Canada. The main point of the test was to describe a personal experience with providing an understanding of what had happened. They stressed understanding (i.e. an after the fact understanding) as opposed to simply proving yourself clever during the incident.
Thus 400 of us got selected out of zillions, and gathered one day about six weeks ago in five large classrooms to take a written test. There were the same 4 topics for all of us. During the first twenty minutes you were expected to cover (briefly) any three topics chosen by you, all three. Then, after a 2 hour break, you had 30 minutes (half an hour) to cover the remaining topic. All four topics had to be treated personally (based on your personal experience or on your own original thoughts or on both). The four themes were:
Thus I'll start to study later this spring, with the other nineteen. One of us will be the overall winner to gain a teaching position at the psychology department. The whole project fits me, I have no doubt about the outcome (granted my health would not give on me). I even challenge you. Choose a charity cause. Make an offer, and I'll match it. We will put money in escrow. One of you (perhaps our Literotica administrators) may be in charge of the operation. If I win the faculty position then you donate to your favorite cause, and if you win... don't count on it--Literotica regulars know better than that. But you're welcome to try. We will have an answer within less than a year. Now wish me good luck

2. business (professional life)
3. entertainment
4. Internet
I had to say the most about business but I didn't want to overwhelm examinators. Thus for my main topic I selected Internet. I wrote about Literotica except that I was discrete (I replaced the real names with fictitious; even Literotica was not presented as such).2. business (professional life)
