New camera - suggestions and examples.

Okay peeps. I am going to be getting a new digital camera. I need some help deciding what I should get. I want something with great resolution, color, weight, dimensions, and interfacing. If you have a great camera that you would suggest, please feel free to post about it giving it's name, whatever specs you can give, and perhaps a sample image. (Something sexy, female or male - I dont care)

My eye is currenly on a Canon Elph PowerShot S110, but it's a little expensive.

You can look up tons of stuff, all the specs on various models, see sample shots (day/night, close up, colour schemes, etc). They do a very thorough job in their reviews!

I know Aaron and I both use the Canon Powershot G1. It's really a lil tank of a camera, and I have been VERY pleased with my results, both personal shots and scenery shots. Everything I have ever posted here has been shot on my G1. Plus, it comes with a remote control!! <eg> Quite nice for shooting pix when you don't have a photographer to help you out

The resource page also has a pricing area on it for various mail-order places. I got mine for about $400 under local retail at the time, even with shipping costs!
