Indeedy, heal up.

A couple of weeks ago i was in a car crash. i was driving a friend's land yacht - she was with me - and the timing belt broke. We were going up a hill and didn't have enough momentum to actually make it to the side of the road, so i got out to push. She didn't have time to do any more than set her book down and open the door and this little sports care came around the curve behind us WAAAAYYYYYYY too fast.

Her car is an early 80's big monster THING. One of those closely related to the Sherman tank. It got a dent.

The little sports car ended up looking like a smashed soda can.

Neither the driver nor my friend was hurt.

However, he hit her car hard enough that it jumped forward. When it did that, the door slammed shut on me. The way it caught me between the door and frame did some damage. Broke a rib, cracked both hips, lots of lovely purple bruises (which are turning yellow and green and all sorts of funky colors around the edges)... Not something i would want people to see. Also not very comfortable to work around.

On the bright side, the dingbat that was driving said little sports car finally got his insurance company to get ahold of me, and the medical expenses aren't costing me a penny. HAHA!!

my husband -was- the photographer. Unfortunately, we haven't done so much as slept in the same room for the past 6 months or so (HIS choice, not mine), so another one would be useful.
