Give me some time, my house will soon begin looking like Abs'.

The boyfriend and I went to Petsmart this afternoon on a whim because I wanted to look at cats. This is always a mistake because we're both the kind of people that immediately fall in love with pets and want to bring them home and when you have both people that are like that, there's no one there to tell you no. We saw these two kittens that were labled as "skittish and scared" and we felt bad. We went to his parents house to borrow $80 but his mother said no. So we went to another pet store that's family owned that I'm always getting crickets from. There was only one kitten left in the cage there and when I told the woman that we were kitten looking she told me that we picked the wrong season to look for a kitten because there was no variety and we were "stuck with the one in the cage over there". We looked at the cat and felt bad for it because the woman who worked there didn't even like it. It's black with beige spotting and a bright orange spot on her nose. The markings look like she always has dust on her face. We felt bad, I fell in love with the cat and when I walked away, she meowed until I went back over and started to pet her again. So we got the cat. :cathappy:

Her name is Devin and pictures will come sometime tomorrow when I did the webcam out.

Come to my place, I have a couple of critters that you would fall in love with. (As I have.)

Cat

What kind of pets do you have?!

We used to have his ex's cat here but she took him to her new place and so now we have Devin and 2 frogs, Jack and Adolf and Allen fell absolutely in love with a chocolate lab that he already started begging for.

I need to get the webcam and I'm going to wait until tomorrow to do it because right now she's fighting with the boyfriend over a screwdriver.

I thought you were addding onto your house. Working in an archetectural firm puts certain thought patterns in my head :p

Kitties are cool too. Mine is insane.

PHOTOS! We want cute kitten pictures, and we want 'em, NOW!

So what's taking you so long?

Rumple Foreskin

I have always liked kittens and even the cats they grow up to become. From time to time I see people, usually kids, giving them away outside a supermarket or some such place. The SPCA always has some for adoption. It is free but you have to pay to get them spayed or neutered.

I have a gecko, a green anole, a dog, and a horse that I have to sell by the edn of the week. *sighs*

Anyone want a $10,000 Egyptian Arabian gelding with basic dressage training and lesson horse experience for $800?

I'm such a cat person. I wish I could adopt all of them, but then that would make me into one of those creepy cat people. I wonder if I could get on TV though...

We have two cats at our place, but when I move out I'm going to adopt one first thing, unless my mom gives me Smokey, my princess. We'll see. I also want a hedgehog. :D Always have since the first time I saw one.

I'd love him, but I don't think he'd winter well in Ontario. :(

Would you come get him? If so...

He has blankets :D All his tack goes with him, except my saddle. That's something I can't replace. :(

When you were playing Sonic the Hedgehog on your Sega Genesis?
I've always wanted a chinchilla, they're amazingly cute.

Some updates on Devin. No pictures yet, sadly, but they're coming. She slept with us all night but we noticed a few hours ago that she sleeps with one of her eyes partly open and suffers from nightmares. When she's sleeping she twitches and shakes so I've had her by my side on the couch under a blanket and I've been petting her when she starts shaking, which seems to sooth her. She is thankfully litter box trained, although she has dog tendencies and likes to bring me her presents from the litter box. That's always a nice treat, of course, but that gave me the opportunity to check for worms which she doesn't seem to have, so that's good.

The pet shop we got her from is pretty shady and doesn't take very good care of their animals, obviously, but I am very glad that we got her from there because she needs us a lot more than ones from a nice corporate pet shop. We are already insanely attached and she seems to be very comfortable with us now and we're all getting along nicely.

I was doing laundry this afternoon and left the room, absentmindedly leaving the dryer door open. When I went back in she was under all of the clothes and looked so freaking cute. I really need a digital camera. But as soon as I find the webcam I'll get some pictures; it is currently lost in a mess of personal possessions since we've been rearranging our house for a little over a week now.

I never got to play Sonic until a few years ago when they brought him out on Gameboy Advance. No, actually when I was 5 they brought one in for our class to see. We all got to pet it, although it stayed curled up in a ball like the entire time. Still cute though.

I would not be able to help but name a hedgehog Sonic. What the fuck kind of animal was Tails, though? A cat? That always confused me...

Tails was a fox. There are many legends of foxes having numerous tails. Nine is fairly common, as well as six. Anyways, I'd look it up, but they're closing the libraray. damned early closing time.

A fox? Tails the fox? And a hedgehog and a fox are getting along and working together how? *shakes head* I'm done overthinking this now.

Cute kitty pics soon, I promise.

Western, English, kids, cowboys- he doesn't care. My three year old rides him.

I'm sending his roller dee snaffle, hackamore, brushes, blanket, any feed I have at the time of sale, plus extra to switch him over, two halters, lead, all bathing supplies, lunge line, hay net... etc, etc, etc.

He's my baby. I don't want to get rid of him, but I can't afford his board :(
