ok, this is really important.
so pay attention -- i hate having to repeat myself.

What is the place where Peter Pan lives?

take your time.

it's not a joke.

every adult i've asked had the same answer:

Never Never Land

But i was watching it last night with my three year old, and i only heard them refer to it as Neverland. i googled a bunch of sites, including those which show the Barrie novel word for word, and i could only find it as Neverland there as well.

where did this Never Never Land thing come from?
and the first person who makes a jacko reference dies.

ok, now you can go back to fighting about sex, or politics.

My first thought was "neverland."

Maybe the person who read the book to you when you were a kid had a stutter?

Never thought it was Neverland.
Never Never Land, however - never a doubt in my mind...

In Neverland...

Real Estate people are always trying to build it up :D

I enjoy........

Thanks for some simple reality(I'd bet I get beat for that) :)

I do enjoy your threads.....

Thank you:)

If it is Neverland - It's a conspiracy I tell ya. Who change the story? I demand a full inquiry. Where’s the justice in this?

Where did it come from?

*ahem*

Exit, light
Enter, night
Take my hand.
Off to Never Never Land.

this is the lyrics of one of my song

MARILLION - Neverland
When the darkness takes me over
Face down, emptier than zero
Invisible you come to me
..quietly
Stay beside me
Whisper to me "Here I am"
And the loneliness fades

Some people think I'm somethin'
Well you gave me that, I know
But I always feel like nothing
When I'm in the dark alone

You provide the soul, the spark that drives me on
Makes me something more than flesh and bone

At times like these
Any fool can see
Any fool can see
Your love inside me

All these years
Truth In front of my eyes
While I denied
What my heart knows was right

At times like these
Any fool can see
Any fool can see
Your love inside me

I want to be someone
I want to be someone
I want to be someone
Who someone would want to be
Someone would want to be

Wendy
Darling
In the kitchen
With your dreams

Will you fly
again
Take to the sky
again

Undo the hooks
Once and for all
Banish the tic tic tic tok tok tok
Again

Will you be
Yourself for me
Cause I can take it
I can stand
Anything

When you're with me
I can stand it
I can stand

But when you're gone
I never land
In Neverland

Want to be someone someone would want to be
someone someone would want to be
someone someone would want to be
someone someone someone someone

Any fool
Any fool can see
Any fool can see
Your love
Inside me

why thank you. we try to make sure the burning issues of the day get the attention they deserve.

I use the phrase "off to Never Neverland" all the time. I have no idea where it originated though.

I know a place where dreams are born
and time is never planned.
Its not on any chart
your must find it in your heart
Never Ever land.

It may be miles beyond the moon
or right there where you stand.
Just think of pleasant things
and your heart will fly on wings
forever.....
to Never Ever Land.

Something Todd Rundgren used to sing
I don't know who wrote it and I'm quoting
by memory... bad old memory.....

Aww. And I was going to jump right in and blame Walt Disney and Hollywood for changing the script...

But he and they didn't...

In Peter Pan it was Neverland...

Perhaps it was from hicks in upstate new york who couldn't read and the tale was passed down from generation to generation by word of mouth? :D

Hey, I did some time in both Binghamton and Oneonta so I think I'm pretty qualified to speak on the subject.

Or would you believe it more if I C&P'd it? :p
