Favorite filmed version of “A Christmas Carol” is the 1951 English version starring Alistair Simms
Favorite updated version is Richard Donner’s “Scrooged” with Bill Murray.
Of course, I have read “A Christmas Carol” almost every Christmas since I was able to read, and had it read to me the Christmases before that.
While my father was alive, it was a family tradition.
