Figure your net worth

1. List all of your fixed assets, such as real estate and cars, at their current value.
2. List all of your liquid assets: cash, certificates of deposit, stocks, bonds and
bank accounts.
3. List all jewelry, furniture and household items at their current value.
4. Add all of the above. These are your total assets.
5. Subtract all of your debts, such as your mortgage, car loan and credit card
balances, from your total assets. The result is your net worth.
6. Reassess your net worth every year.

Well, this wasn't much fun. It didn't have me list all the things I have that I value. Such as better health, a slower paced life, the long walks I now have time for, the smile of a child when I listen to their knock knock jokes, for the millionth time...
how about the first ice cream cone of the season? Or the first robin? Or the tiny pale green shoots that signal spring is on it's way?
How about having the winter clothes dry cleaned and packed away?
Where do I list those things?
