Nerds?

Here's my question.
Which Ms Marvel?

There were two. One was a woman given Kree powers who were later stolen by Rogue from X-men. This was the first one and the one I always think of when I see that name. She was blond and wore a spandex multi-colored outfit.

The other was some sort of supersonic woman. She was African American wearing a white outfit.

I have not read the current comic, bu that is what I am thinking.

Super late reply on this, but the ones I'm talking about is the latest iteration of Ms Marvel, Kamala Khan. If you haven't read it I highly recommend it. Every graphic novel edition has been top 5 on the NY Times bestseller list.

ok, here's me chiming in on this: the original Ms. Marvel was Carol Danvers. She has also gone by the name Binary and Warbird, and is now the current Captain Marvel. The second one is Monica Rambeau, and she became Ms. Marvel during the first Secret Wars. She has gone by many codenames, and is currently known as Spectrum.

Kamala Khan is a new Inhuman, and has shape changing/ size changing abilities.

*Phew*

Thank you for the back up, Beastie.

Gryffindor here too! Woot!

I'm also a Stark loyalist...except for Tony, because he fought Captain America ;)

One of my sad goals for the day is figuring out how to post a pic of my Patronus.
Which sounds much dirtier than it is.

Nerd level 10000!

I'm sure other nerds will get the reference ;)

I've tried to come up with something witty and all I get is "gah" so I'll just shut up and daydream ;)

I'm a nerd, I heavily suffer from NADD. My need for short and intensive feeds of material is insatiable. I need high intensity, short punch material. I guess it is why I fell in love with comics and encyclopedias at a very young age already. I'm a spunge, I'm a leech for knowledge.

I get bored easily, too easily. When I speak and share what I think is helpful info non-nerds say I'm intense because I share mainly in telegram style and rather than explain everything give hints and then point in directions to further investigate.

My geekdom though is rather limited, I know much of only very few 'long tails', niches. I'm a huge Batman geek, almost nerd [what makes a Batman nerd?] and may have invested more interest in the lives of authors and artists than in their actual works. 🤔

I'm socially awkward because often I already know what will be said and thus I have mentally moved on to the next topic already - yet I keep half an ear dedicated for I could learn something nevertheless. My NADD is both a blessing (for me and those who know/understand it) and a curse because people think I can't focus and am constantly distracted.

But just wait until I get in the zone.

Most talk here is geekery. :p
But without geeks around me my life would be deplorable. :)

For the real Poke-maniacs, just a reminder that Arceus will be distributed starting tomorrow at all Gamestop locations in the US and Canada. Remember that you can only get him on Pokemon X, Y, Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby. He will only be available from Aug 1-24 while they have cards.

P.S. This has nothing to do with Pokemon Go btw.

C said thanks, lol!

This place is pretty interesting. I'm seeing new books & shows to geek out over.
