I have never heard of a mouthhug before ... I might have to steal that one, all patents and licensing information courtesy of MB311, of course

Is this a three word association game?

Friends with benefits becomes Words with Friends or Hanging with Friends, both acceptable conversation in the nerd thread

well I stole it from Johnny Dare- DJ from 98.9 the rock. You can't say blowjob on the radio but you can say mouthhugs! :)

For science geeks or inquisitive folks:

WNYC + NPR's RadioLab.

Ton of interesting podcasts on a variety of topics. I started at the bottom and have worked my way pretty far up the list. Love their sense of humor and use of sound bits in their show. Really can't recommend it enough.

So whats new in nerdom???

since not a lot of people had heard of "mouthhugs" for a blowjob.. it got me thinking what other terms are out there that are very common..

1. mouthhug
2. plate - gay term from the 70's
3. head

Shrug. It'll always just be blowjob to me.
Just a couple of weeks, and I'll have mine. I was promised something special, and last time, something special meant her bringing along a friend.

The cleric is pleased.

What's new, folks?

"Head" I have heard of, always in the context of giving or getting it. "Going down" as well. And of course the various colorful phrases for the more intense variations of the activity.

Real close to the one in the pic hun. Three of four bars red and flashing. Is there hope or do we take it out back, shoot it and get another?

Ouch. Three out of four is XBox talk for "Durrrrr I pooped myself." It's pretty much done. If you have a warranty on it, you can get it fixed relatively cheaply (the last time it happened to me, I ended up paying around $50 including paying for good shipping).

Otherwise, I say use this as an excuse to invest in a new XBox 360. The new "Slim" ones are a lot quieter, have better ventillation (big fan on one of the big sides, and vents along either end of the machine). Plus, they have built-in wifi, which can make setting them up for XBox Live or streaming video a lot easier.

(If anyone is curious, a full red ring means "A/V cord is unplugged", as opposed to a 3/4 ring which is a general hardware failure. Or maybe it means "A/V Cord unplugged, and one of the red LED lights is broken" :D)

I will trade you three RROD with this link

The new "slim" 360 only works better because it has a force off mode if it gets to hot.

Now 320GB COG certified is where its @

Meh, the force-off is a good feature. I've been told some computers have it too. Basically, rather than risk cooking the hardware, it cuts the juice when it gets too hot. Sure you might lose some information or get data corrupted, but it's better than having to explain to the land lord why there is a pile of melted slag burning a hole in the carpet. :D

And like I said, ventilation seems much improved, so that probably helps with the heat issue considerably.

As far as Gears of War... are those games good? XBox Live is telling me that the new game is the most anticipated game of 2011, although I hadn't heard anything about it until then. All the chatter I've seen for upcoming games has mostly been for the new Call of Duty and Battlefield games.

It and Halo are the primary reasons I own a 360. Bought a PS3 just to play MGS4... then sold both

Laughably the main character "Marcus Fenix " voice actor for a robot with a "shiny metal ass"

Yeah, usually the well-known voice actors get a lot of mileage. They have the advantages of being A) Well-known for (what one assumes is) quality work, and not having to look like any particular character. The same guy also plays the badass smuggler with the very nice hat in the Star Wars: Old Republic trailer.
