Let's just say, I didn't lose the battle of Serenity Valley.

Oh man, this one time, a corporal and I, get this, put these little anti-personnel grenades into apples, and hucked 'em at the brown coat lines.

Suckers fell for it.

Is any side of a war a winning one?

Just a random though, but would an undead army technically have any casulties?

Ah, see, this one I can field.

Yes, though it gets a bit harder to keep track.
We just make more.

Jimmy, your toss be damned.
How many protoss units aren't vulnerable to Lockdown?

.....technically aren't they all already casualties?

Sort of?
Again, it very quickly becomes a logistical nightmare.
Oi, and when the vampires, wights, and bodaks start converting living troops... Too much paper work.

Jimmy, I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you over the sound of nuclear annihilation. Please say again?

Poor misguided man.. nukes on starcraft are about worthless. Too long to setup, to much in resources, too much in population. *sigh* I'll have to let you meet my pet reavers. They dont play very nice, but they have nice little shuttles.

Now see, thats also the point I was wondering. I mean injuries would run rampantly unreported. I mean dear god man.. Thats not just a flesh wound when you lose your arm, PLEASE report it to a medic.

Logistics I doubt would be too problematic. They harch half as fast but twice as long. Desertion rates would be at an all time low. Disobeying orders? Psh, as if. They follow to a T.

Oh, nukes are only worthless if just dump them on the front door, sure...

But try rebuilding if one just happens to hop a quick shuttle with seven marines to just the inside of your flank... Who can really keep track of one little ghost with all those marines making noise?

Then it's off to the mineral stream, or the battle cruiser rallying point, or the back of your front line.

It also depends on the nature of an undead force...

We talking shuffling zombie horde, D&D goody bag, or what?

Anyway, sorry for yammering on tonight.

Just had a spat of really good news of late, so I'm feeling good.

And tired. Time for some much needed sack time.

To the two people who realized something was bugging me:

I have been debating on if I should just tell you all what has been sincerely bugging me or to just let it slide, to just shake my head; cool off and just continue off. But this week, something inside of me finally snapped.

I am quite furious with a whole lot of you. Since last week, I have noticed that my presence isn't really been known at all. I sincerely doubt that any of you even faction to REALIZE that I wanted to celebrate an important holiday that I celebrate or that I enjoy receiving a response to when I ask someone how they are doing, but instead get completely ignored and forgotten, but as soon as somebody else comes in, they are instantly noted and responded to. I have BEEN on this thread for more than a couple of years, and nothing changes. I am constantly feeling as if my lack of scientific knowledge is overlooked because I don't play D&D, Magic or know every damn quotation in comic books.

To you guys, you do not realize how important you are to me both on Lit and outside too. I considered each and EVERY one of you, friends ( even ones who seem to think that I dislike them. I do not. I have a few personal issues- and for that, I am sorry. I do like you. Perhaps looking at the fact that I envy you will come to make you realize that I do like you.. I just don't know how to carry a conversation with you because I truly don't know you.)

So for this, I am sorry. I don't think that I am a perfect mesh to the rest of you highly intelligent nerds. So my title as the "nerd kitty" has been given up. Erased from it's spot on my signature. I bid you all well and a joyous future.

So, Rei. As the new guy in this thread let me say "'Ello" and pleased to make your aquaintence. Hopefully, I can talk to you some other time on better terms. And If I can, Id like to suggest you not renouncing your title. Its never a good thing. Instead of storming off.. why not just talk? I know I cant quite most sci-fi, or anime, And I sure as hell wont be caught dead dressing as a klingon. No offense to those of you that do.

Anyhew. 'Ello

I think everyone on this board has moments where they feel they are not responded to. Every last one of us. I know there are runs of pages where I don't even bother to post because I've never picked up 4th Edition D&D (To tell the truth I'm sketchy if I even had a 3rd edition at any point. I do however know I had 2nd somewhere)
My knowledge of Anime is utterly nil, and please do not insult my recollection or intelligence by trying to say that this thread has never taken an anime turn for pages at a time.
I've never played Magic in my life, the closest I got was holding a deck for someone at a con, I abruptly washed my hands after wards.
My video game knowledge is very limited, and often mocked for having Halo in my top 5.
I don't know artists or manga or asian songs or signers. I don't know a great many things, but I do indulge when the topic swings around to something I like. I truly believe we all could say that.
I am a comic nerd, it's true. I have been for many years, but I also enjoy learning about things from others. I am no different from anyone else here, nor is anyone else here different from me...in a cosmically equal sort of way. Obvious gender, physical statistics, religious views and personal habits aside. It saddens me when anyone feels they are left out or overlooked but the nature of posts may be to part of the culprit, the lack of understanding by others or no way of seeing how the posts fits into their own lives or any idea how to appropriately respond.
Each of us on this thread, and indeed all people we meet in any day to day life all touch us and teach us something. If someone chooses to leave this particular niche of ours, then of course it is our loss much more so then theirs, but if a person feels put upon here or out of place then there is no desire to subject them to it either.
Whatever the personal reasons behind a persons choice and I do believe them to be just that, personal and I will not speculate on them, we will always have something of a history. Some acquaintances are meant to last, others to pass and yet others to bloom once more sometime later. We can only hope to have such perennial friends.
I would ask that a persons wish to stay or go is respected, obviously everyone will have strong feelings on it but it might be best if those were expressed privately between the individuals involved and not left in an open forum. Just my personal opinion as such emotional issues invariably get complex.
