I am truly addicted - it's now official.
I began playing Perfect World International some months ago. I have several characters going, but my main is a level 62 cleric (Winged Elf race, Magic, Healer).
Anyway, I thought that I was spending far too much time in game, and so I decided that would not play for a few weeks, then go back and only allow myself short blocks of time in game.
Well, it worked - sort of.
I went in last night and played for two hours, then logged out. A half hour later, I logged back in, and played for about an hour and a half. Logged out, waited a while, then went in and played for another two hours, logged out, waited, logged back in, and played about an hour - I just logged out a few minutes ago.
I think part of the attraction for me is that it's almost like WoW, except that it's totally free to play, and if you play correctly, you can make enough game money to really supply yourself with all the bells and whistles.
I hate how addictive this crap is.....
I don't like WoW, but that's more for the people who play it and the art style. I love my LotRO though, since it's free for me to play now.

I tried watching the first disc last night. Got completely turned off at the 4th episode called "The Immortals." I didn't like how they stereotypically assumed that nerds in the Navy = Crazy, online-obsessed people who can't tell reality from role-play.
However, I do like Abby. She's kewl

Thank-you for the reccomendation Txxy. Once I'm done watching Claymore, Bleach, Story of Saiunkoku, Negima, Gantz and Code Geass with Chronie (He needs to catch up lol), I might cave; make you all happy and watch 1 mecha show. Fair?
Well, to be fair, they also show that nerds in the Navy are competent, skilled, highly qualified investigative agents (such as Special Agent McGee).

Hey, here's a change of pace; I have good news!
My brother, friend, and wounded ally is doing better. The artery was moved, plates and rods installed, and he's well on his way to crutches. Thanks to any and all who's thoughts were with him during this difficult time.

Well, there has always been the WAP version of Lit, but it takes 3 page long stories and turns them into 50 page ordeals. Still, it made the month I spent in training at Sheppard AFB with no internet in the dorms a little easier to deal with.
So, I just saw the new Transformers movie. I just have one thing to say right now... (highlight for a spoiler)
Is it bad that I thought Alice got more hot after she sprouted the tail and the long robot tongue?

For any of my like minded nerds who read OotS, I highly recommend the Start of Darkness. Definitely worth the cash. Even if you don't appreciate evil in the same way, it's kinda nice to see how it all got started.

No prerequisites needed. All one must do is embrace the lifestyle. Or something like that. It's an internal thing.

I have many nerdy interests but comibooks occupy my mind most. I like to draw and one kid paid me 10 bucks to draw one of the characters topless and I had read it because it was such a bizarre comic. I was hooked and not faithfully go to my LCS every wednesday
