Good afternoon nerds.
I'll be away for a while; the best friend I've ever had took a tumble off of an 18 foot ladder, and did some real damage to his right leg. He's hospitalized right now, and if they can't get the leg (spiral fracture, shattered knee cap) set correctly, he'll lose the leg.
As ironic as it is, I'm not religious in the least... But, to any of you that are, please drop a wounded nerd your best thoughts/prayers. He needs them.

After having gone thru my own knee surgery lately, I know how suckage that is. Hopefully he makes a full and speedy recovery.
And in other news, I was lining up a date with a super cute, nerdy boy down here, then I found out an acquaintence of mine and her roommate already have some drama going down with said gentleman. The Atlanta BDSM scene is clearly way too small. Oh well....

Dude; I'm so sorry about your friend. I sincerely hope that the recovery goes well without the need for any intensive surgery. My thoughts of you and your friend are in mind.

Thank you all for your concern... Turns out there's a tenuous wireless here I can catch. Friend will live, and probably keep his leg. He's in for a long recovery, but he's more excited about having a metal legs.
Keeps talking about getting a buster arm. He's my water brother, and I love him to death, but one day, gonna have to kick his ass.Guess, I'd be happy to help with any D&Ding. I've been DMing for many moons now, and claim a fair proficiency. Drop me a PM with the details, and I'll mull it over.

Onto other Nerdly things, I just spent a bit drooling over the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 game site. My favorite made the cut (at last!). I get to play Songbird
! I'm now waiting anxiously to see if they do the variable costumes and what ones they have in mind for her.

I want my High Priestess. She's gotta throw dice with the best of them, read everything with text, run/flirt at just the right speed, argue meaningless subjects with me, be able to be a lady on the street and a miniskirt wielding maniac in private, know her scifi (from Trek to Wars, and Firefly to Mecha), and be able to keep me balanced and in touch with humanity.
While I'm dreaming on, she'll also be a self made millionaire and live in PGH.
