Heh, I used to live near a place called Sand City. Wasn't made out of sand though, it just happened to be on the beach.

So, I just saw S. Darko (the sequel to Donnie Darko), and, well, it's not as good as I was originally hoping for (the teaser trailer made it look like it was going to be Donnie Darko from his sister's POV, but instead its another story taking place about 7 years later). It's interesting, but not as good as the original (and bonus points because Samantha Darko is played by the same girl who played her in Donnie Darko), and the plot just completely stops making any kind of sense at the end.

Oh, and I saw Be My Bloody Valentine (in 2D!) because my girlfriend forced me to. Eh, it was entertaining enough.

Tex, are you claiming that the original D Darko's ending made sense? It has been many moons since I've watched it, but I don't recall being able to make heads or tails of it.

The ending to Donnie Darko didn't make much sense (well, I think I kinda understand it now, but it's been years since I first saw it), but it was at least internally consistent with the rest of the movie. The final act of S. Darko is just so random it doesn't make any sense at all.

He had a choice at the very end of the movie. He had seen the future (through the worm hole), and had a choice to live and see those events play out - or stay in his room and save the life of the girl he loved.

Cleric- The perfect companion would be someone who is honest, trustworthy, that likes my family, can fit in perfectly with my friends, crazy good in bed, can cook, do the laundry and actually put away clothes, likes to sit on the couch and cuddle while watching trashy VH1 shows, being able to understand me when I talk with a toothbrush in my mouth, like my cat, laugh at my stupid jokes, and love me not despite my quirks but because of my quirks. I'm sure there is more but thats all I got right now.

I am a movie geek. I own far too many, and have seen a whole lot more.
I know what a Gundam is... and can name far too many of them
I used to read comics, a lot. Not only do I still own all of them, but have a good number of them signed.

And I have the kind of memory that remember useless facts, so I can name the whole Summers family....

Oh, and I play an MMORPG...
