Just wanted to let everyone in on the secret that I passed my program with the nearest of margins(.5% higher than mandatory) so Sat. I am officially graduating!

I wouldn't be much of a nerdy high priest if I weren't able to follow the laity's discussions, now would I? I will say though, ******t does an admirable job of being over-the-top nerdy... But he can't do scary scary Timelord! Shame, really.

It's taken in decent humor. They generally tolerate us bumbling males. Be nerdy, be charming, and be funny, and they'll laugh with you. We just all live too far away from each other for anything to come of it, so just keep that in mind.

It's a touch crowd, but still not as tough as trying to talk with a drow priestess.

Went on my Incentive Flight in a KC-135 stratotanker today (Air Force jet that refuels other planes in mid-air). Was kinda cool, but we got delayed for three hours because the plane we were planning to refuel was having mechanical problems and couldn't take off.

Finally, we get the go-ahead to launch, get out there, find that the other plane is still broken down, so we go home. This took up something like 9 hours when all was said and done (3 hours of "hurry up and wait", three hours hanging out on the plane with nowhere to go, three hours actually in flight bumming around the wild blue yonder).

Kinda fun, but yeah, I wanted to see some planes getting refueled!

Plus, it's not exactly COMFORTABLE in the back of one of those planes. Ever hear of "Web Seating"? It's fine for a while, but it's not the best thing to sit in for hours and hours!
