Greetings, everyone! It's been a while. Read through the last page, lots of stuff seems to... err... not have changed while I'm gone. And that's not a bad thing, mostly!

Anyways, it's good to see all of you here, and I hope you're all doing well. I've been busy with school and work and, err, not getting to see my girlfriend very often at all, moping about it, but working through it.

Also, I'm in the process of winning a contest, and need votes. It's in my signature, register at the AMD Ruby link and vote for story #5. That way, I can, y'know, win. Heh.

And I can really empathize with you, Cleric and Squirtums, I've been down that road. Never had a one nighter, or a one weeker, but I've gone years between relationships at points, and I was mostly very happy, but people flaunting their relationships in front of me was a bit painful, like my brother and his fiance (who are having a kid now! Jeebus), and some of my friends. Heck, out of all my cousins, I'm one of the oldest, and a bunch of them have kids already and are in fairly stable relationships, while for a long time I had nothing; just a drought. My first relationship I had no idea she was unhappy until she broke up with me; the second, she had a threesome without me and then told me she didn't love me, and the third is still going pretty strong but a bit rocky because we're both very busy and haven't seen each other for a while. I even found out she would have dated me right after we first met, not a year and some months later when we did. Which could have been a missed chance.

But I've been there, so keep your chin up, and enjoy your single life until you find the right one for you. It'll happen, and if it doesn't, you can always make a pact to be with someone if neither of you can find anyone, heh.

I want butter and Jam!:cattail:

Btw. Swine Flu? *gives finger* Yeah, I'm angry at the world.

I had a very strange man staring at my apartment window this morning. He refused to go away. Just stood there, staring. He knew I could see him.

So I flashed him.

He's back now.

Should I tell him that'll be twenty bucks?

Depends on how good the view is. I'd say 20-40.

In the words of Dan Savage, all relationships have an end. Even when that end is simply death of you/your partner. No matter the length of the relationship, if you can gain something from it, and learned something about yourself, I think you can call it a partial success at a minimum. Even if that relationship only lasts a week or so. If you're concerned about the duration of your relationships, you should either reconsider how you and the partners you're selecting function within the relationship, an see if that's what's causing them to not last as long as you would like, OR you should reconsider how long you expect your relationships to last.

As a totally unrelated sideline, I just saw the new Wolverine Bio trailers. I think Fred J Dukes a.k.a. the Blob is the scariest son of a bitch ever. Made me kinda hot actually.

You know, it is because you are a freak that we love you.:D

He he he Yeah, I know it's why y'all love me. But damn, at least in the earlier segments he's hot in that long haul trucker kind of way. Then he goes into teddy bear to big old boy;).

Currently, the shows I'm following are Dollhouse, Fringe, Supernatural, Bleach, Shangri-la, Full Metal Alchemist 2, and waiting for the last episodes of Gundam 00 S2.

Aaaand that's about it.
