Just back from Watchmen and I only have this to say Holley Hellonastick..... Yeah there were a couple of over the top gory scenes, but on the whole they NAILED the story. The softcore was a bit of refreshment in all of the dark and gritty so I give them a pass and a two thumbs up for it.

I just wish after what, 300-odd strips, they'd get around to ressing the main freakin' character. If I had to wait that long in a D&D campaign to get resurrected, I'd shoot my DM

Too many stories trying to resolve at the same time.

Belkar's storyline and Vaarsuvius' storyline make up for it, in my opinion. Besides, Roy is a whiner. I never could stand whiny fighters.

Actually, it's not that bad, since I got to see it in an old-style single screen local theater. They did have digital projectors and surround sound, but the feel of the place is nostalgic awesomeness. And for a movie with Watchmen's setting, nostalgic awesomeness is just wicked.

I had to see it on IMAX, since I saw the preview for it when I saw Batman at the IMAX. It just looked visually awesome enough to pay the extra money. And I just love having an excuse to go to the IMAX Love those things

This movie had some of the best fight scenes ever and funny as hell. I also just saw the new Dreamworks film Monsters vs Aliens good film, a little shallow but a good film. Also I can't wait for pixar's new movie UP....go ahead guys get your laugh on, I watch kiddy films a man my age should not like this stuff but I do.
