Here's what I noticed on my first go around (Names taken from the posted list of tunes):
Hare Hare Yukai ~ Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Forest Maze ~ Super Mario RPG
Okussenmen ~ Mega Man 2

I got introduced to these series through these Mario videos, but didn't know what they were at the time. Then I really got into it after seeing the videos where the dances for Hare Hare Yukai and Motteke! Sailor Fuku were done with Mega Man characters. I plan to pick up the entire Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya series at Best Buy when I have some money. Goodness knows when that will be. :rolleyes:

Kaiba..and Light?

Well for one, they are from different genres of shows. Yu Gi Oh! Is a card-based anime that's intended for kids, and well Kaiba is such a measly boss that towards the end of season 1, JOINS Yugi and his gang of "kick ass monster-card fighters".
Kaiba is basically a rich, spoiled mean-spirited kid.

Light, is like a genius!
Yeah he can be a little over-the-top and cocky, but at least he has the balls to kill people who (not saying this is right or anything) deserve to die. Plus, he has enough knowledge and intellect to cover his arse when he gets sloppy. Ontop, he has a fucking kick-ass shinigami!


Kaiba and Light don't really look alike either..well not really. They don't even have the same coloured eyes silly!

Plus.. Death Note has a Live-action movie!!!! HUZZAH!

Okay, yes, I know all that. I didn't know they had different colored eyes, though. However, Kaiba proved a few times that he can be fairly manipulative, just not on par with the social and legal chess game that Light plays. And don't get me wrong, I love Death Note, but I've noticed that Death Note fans can be just as fiercely fanatical as X-Men fans. What gets to me is I don't know why. The X-Men fanaticism makes sense to me because of it's parallels with the civil rights movement, but WTF is up with Death Note fans? I am one, myself, even though I have yet to see the anime outside a few spread out episodes that didn't make a whole bunch of sense. I'm up to book 6 of the manga, though. I just thought it was strange that at one point I was reading the manga and thought to my self, "Wow...Light kinda looks like Kaiba Seto. Weird."

At this point, I'm starting to think that maybe they just have the same hairstylist.

The only flaw in this theory is that if Yagami Light and Pegasus were in the same world, Light would have ganked him long before the Yu-Gi-Oh story began for being such a douchebag. And do not bring up publication history dates. It's just a joke.

Naw...they're just hyper. And by hyper, I mean so out of control energetic that if people could figure out the biotech interfaces, three of them per week could solve the world's energy crisis for the next four hundred years with enough excess left over to make a surplus ton of buttered toast in every country every day, considering the energy was also used to power the factories churning the butter on said toast and deliver it in new cars that are powered by energy hydrants like out of the Watchmen.

Who says I don't go overboard with my metaphors sometimes?

On a separate note, I know a guy that's been watching Naruto so closely and repeatedly that he can actually do the jutsu hand gestures. Yes. ALL OF THEM.
