Well... I'm Kristen. I'm 20, and I got to Sheridan College for Advertising. I love food and dining out, movies, partying and just having a good time. I want to travel after school's done... then possibly move to the "big city". I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and even though the reasons may be fuzzy sometimes, it'll all make sense in the long run. Life can and usually does change so quickly, there are so many opportunities available out there, so my philosophy is to be optimistic and embrace everything whole heartedly.

Kissing is my favourite, except it has to be with the right person, many people in this world do not know how bad they kiss, they should be told! Certain songs give me chills. I hate writing about me sections. But let's see what I can do with this. I'm currently jobless. I was working at Joey's Only, an aweful dilapidated little place on the dirty side of town that attracts the most annoying people in Guelph-- no joke. It really sucked and the owner is a huge ass who I could go on forever about, but in the interest of space and avoiding offending some people I will leave it at that. I would like to work in mental health, but apparently no one wants to hire you for a job in that field unless you have some kind of graduate training. So it appears that my psych degree is pretty useless right now. (Go figure. It sure whould have been nice if I had known that before I wasted $20,000+ that could have been spent better elsewhere.) So the plan is to apply to return to school yet again this fall and see what happens with that. I'd like to go to UBC and get out of here for awhile. I've lived in Guelph my whole life and quite honestly I am bored with it. I think there's probably a whole lot out there that I am missing just hanging around here. At least I hope so; Guelph life seems pretty depressing lately. Hmm, what else can I tell you. My favorite colour is purple. If I had to pick between t.v. and movies, I can guarantee that movies would win. I could drink orange juice all the time and probably never get sick of it. I hate beer. I like trying out new things. I love seafood. I think it would be pretty cool if I could write a book someday, though I'm not entirely sure that my writing skills are up to par. I love artsy stuff: painting, drawing, anything you name it. I'm a big nerd. I love reading; psych books or books that help you to look at life in different ways are my favorite. One of my most important goals in life is to travel everywhere that I can. Haven't gone too far yet, but I figure with this year off before I go back to school I should be able to get somewhere. For a little of my sappy side: I try my best to love life and see things in the best light possible, no matter how aweful they seem sometimes. I try not to take life for granted and see difficult times as a challenge rather that a failure. More importantly I am a firm believer in the idea that it is our choices and not chance that decides who we are and where we go in life.
