Yeah, I don't have a cat, though I used to live with a guy who had some ferrets.

Ferrets are freaking awesome. All the energy of a room fool of kindergardeners, and an attention span that is even shorter than mine.

Right now, I've got a white German Shepherd, who I jokingly refer to as "The only blonde girl who loves me", she's extremley hyperactive, loves having people pay attention to her, and if you lay down on the floor for whatever reason, she will immediately get in your face (which makes doing pushups and situps problematic). What is KIND of annoying is that she has somehow learned how to "pet" people. If you stop petting her, she'll start pawing you in the face. I'd get angry if it wasn't so cute.
