So, it seems that Tail Spin, Duck Tales, and Darkwing Duck all take place in the same continuity, although Tail Spin takes place in the 1930's. :)

I know Duck Tales and Darkwing Duck are in the same continuity, but I don't recollect anything ever linking Talespin to either show. I'd be interested to know why you say that. :)

Well, Wikipedia (which is, of course, always absolutley infalible  ) mentioned that there was a Disney series of comics that linked the three series, along with Chip and Dale, I think. That said, the connection to Chip and Dale is tenuous at best, since that show obviously takes place in "The Real World" or something similar to it, rather than in a world of anthromorphic animals living in such places as Duckburg and Cape Suzette.

*pokes head in* Hi guys. Haven't been around much. WoW + Boy are keeping me busy. Anything new and exciting around here?

According to the wiki:

The series was partially based on a defunct aspect of the DuckTales series; namely, that Launchpad McQuack was originally conceived as the operator of an air cargo service. Though finding his way into Darkwing Duck, McQuack was never slated for the Tale Spin.

The thread has been mostly Appy and Rei doing thier best to make the rest of us go "huh" and T-Bone, Palmeto, and TexGuy talking about card games and shit.

I don't think you've missed any good gossip or anything.

And what's wrong with card games and shit? For the record, I was talking about 80's cartoons and computer components.

Absolutely nothing is wrong with them.

I have thousands upon thousands of Star Wars CCG cards.

They are like like legos. They just turn up all over the place.

I miss legos. Where else can pirate ships invade medieval castles using lightsabers?

When I was 12 I re-enacted the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy with Legos...

I used the lego roads for my Transformers games. I'd build houses and buildings and stuff, and then my transformers would blow them up. :D

It was a weekend long production. I didn't have enough Lego people to make orcs so I used several painted green lego blocks to represent orcs. I also used some He-Man baddies to play Ogres.

Making Legolas and Gimli gave me the most trouble. I end up painting ears on a yellow Lego head for Legolas and I was never able to figure out a way to make Gimli have movable legs and still be shorter than the others (Never figured it out for the hobbits either) and so I just used several of the very thin two peg blocks to build them up to a proper hieght so thier arms could move.

This non movable legs thing vexed me for weeks afterwards as I felt my production lacked the 'real life' touch it deserved

Hrmmmmm. As much as it would kill me to take a weekend off from WoW and I don't have any legos nor the funds to buy a whole ton of them.....

I have a dream that one day, I can do nothing more to spend a weekend, in a big white room, eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, drinking milk, and building/playing with legos.
