Always time for force later.

I have no idea what I was typing up there....must have been distracted by you

Flattery, my dear. :cathappy:
Now, which has more appeal; hot, hard sex against a vertical surface, or a slower horizontal dance in a hot bath?

Idle curiousity. :catroar:

Tuff choices...in accordance with this thread...is the vertical surface a server rack?

There is no inner geek, she is proudly out!

I wear my geekdom on my sleeve, sometime literally if you look in my closet.

Wonderful to see. I wear my nerd badge on my sleeve too.
:p My heart keeps getting it all bloody though.
I need longer sleeves, me thinks.

Well, as the sages say; the hour is late, our cups are dry, and my tale is told.
I'm off to visit Morpheus at the heart of the Dreaming.
Sweet dreams to you, and to all my regular buddies. Good night.

That would be the best explanation EVER for an internet service outage.

"Well, aight, it's like this, see? My girlfriend came by to drop off my lunch, but we got in a fight for some reason, and next thing you know, we're having makeup sex in the server room, and, well, long story short, we knocked over half the servers and routers, and I've had to spend all afternoon putting everything back together. Also, useful fact, a misplaced bra can jam a cooling fan and cause a fire."

"So... when will it be fixed?"

"I dunno, shouldn't be too long."

Funny story...

When I was working for a small local ISP I was given the task of showing some new tech clients the server room. Now these were men who salivated at the sight of RAID so you can see what mind set I was catering to. I lead the tour through explaining our SSL offerings as well as our power back up's, massive surge protection and redundant network connections. All of these garnered the typical polite nods of appreciation.

It wasn't until I got to our onsight back up servers that I got a reaction. I patted the four foot tall stainless steel home of our blade hub and smiled proudly while I explained our twice daily back up procedures and our 12 terabyte memory in the 4U set up.

At this point they were salivating as stated above, and one honestly said in a voice of great awe....

".......Nice rack."

I blushed until I realized he was indeed, staring at the servers.

Men!

Geesh.

So, I just started playing a new video game (well, new to me) called Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies. Basically it's an alternate universe jet combat game, the entire world is pretty fictionalized, but you use real-world planes and weapons (or at least something resembling them).

VERY fun game, with great music, great in-game dialogue (radio chatter, picked up broadcasts, stuff like that). Mission I'm in right now involves retaking a city captured by the enemy forces during the game's prologue, and while you are flying around fighting over the city, you can hear a news broadcaster talking about the battle being waged overhead. VERY cool game.

Afternoon my dear Nerd-kin.

I'm about to fix some late lunch and enjoy a bit of down time, more or less this is a shameless bump.

One of my favorites, that one.

The last mission is wonderful.
You lead the newly formed Mobius squadron, and take on twice your number in Yellows. Helluva fight.

 Oh, and then a death star run, because every game that involves flying needs one.

Anyway, shameless bumping is never discouraged LS.
Have we lost anyone in the transition from Personals to Playground?
Hope not.

Sorry, I'm rambling.
