African, or European?

That earns Nerd Brownie points! Ten more and you'll get a free pocket protector. ;)

Okay, total nerd moment, but I love that the Cheat is your av...

The funniest Homestar Runner moment ever for me was when Strong Bad took The Cheat out of the dryer...and he was one giant ball of fluff. I couldn't stop laughing for the life of me!

No way!!! When Strongbad gave Strongsad caffeine. That was the most hilarious moment ever. That's like me when I get hyper.

Pinecone.

Strong Sad reminds me of my massively depressed friends from my majors (religious studies and philosophy...moreso philosophy) back in college. It's hilarious, but it's a little too close to reality for my liking, haha.

DOUGLAS!!!!!!!!

I haven't been to Homestar Runner in ages, but when I did, I was hardcore addicted.

"Cheat Commandos, probably fighting evil, buy all our playsets and toys!"

Oh, those were priceless. Brought me back to the days of GI Joe!

I haven't seen much of HSR lately, actually. The Strong Bad emails have been updated less frequently than in the past, plus they've been turning out fewer quality cartoons lately. Maybe they got too popular for their own good? :(

Eh, all fads end some time. It was only a matter of time.

Lol. Yeah, BDF is one of the new servers they allowed transfers too, my whole guild jumped ship (and went from a PVE to a PVP server).

I'm not big pvping on my warrior (prot specced) but on my mage I love it.
I hate new servers... so noob crammed... I play my hunter and rouge strictly PVP. I couldnt do a PVE Server... it would drive me nuts.

Well my server was mostly transfers (lots of 60s). Lot of bigger raiding guilds transferred. Wasn't open to any new people for a month until after transfers were done

Bleh...I hate WoW. No depth, and repetitive gameplay out the wazoo. Some of my addicted friends are finally starting to realize it, at least, and go play something better. (no, there's not much better out there MMO-wise)

ditto...PSO is much better, though still very repetitive

I just watched that one the other night after not having seen it for at least a year and a half!!! LOVE that one...

marzipan... fruit salad...

That was funny, yes.

As for PSO...meh. MMORPGs (and I use the term RPG VERY loosely, similar to how CRPGs in general are right now) are currently pretty much clones of one another. Bleh.

Honestly there isn't very much good out there anymore. I play UT2004 because it's a lot like a good team sport when you've got the right group. :)

now i agree with that and even the good rpg's get boring so quickly. A good team games adds the unexpected to it :)

That's the only thing that's kept me playing WoW. I raid all the End Game Dungeons with 39 other people. I like the teamwork aspect. I have no interest in PvP or anything like that.

thats something i can agree with I dont feel the nned to prove myself against others its so much more fun to play together with a good group. I was into guildewars for a while it was cool but then finished it and havent gone back since the new stuff came out

WoW is an item based enviroment and is frustrating until you get into endgame, I pvp because pvp is just my thing but a 40 man raid is also fun because it takes a massive amount of teamwork to get 40 people to work together. MMO wise it's actually so so, but then again I was beta testing EQ way back when so I'm partial to the game. Hell.. if I want to RP I'll do it with dice, pen and paper.

LOL, Agreed. RP is left for D & D type games. I have all those damn dice for a reason :)

:D I agree whole heartedly, I'll take dice over a keyboard any day.

With a fleshy DM, you have flexibility for rules and personal tastes.
:p Besides, I get way more satisfaction when I outwit another human.

I love tabletop but it's not very often I get to play. I've been playing the very much so overlooked warhammer tabletop for years... you do not want me as your GM because I will make you hate me.

i've never played tabletop outside the original D&D...didn't like it that much

It's certainly not for everyone.

And Rivet, it's the most reviled of GMs that are the most skilled.
