can someone explain to me exactly what the difference is between a nerd, a geek and a dork? I mean, I've been called and/or referred to myself as all 3 of them at some point, and for some reason I have a feeling I'm more of a dork than a nerd, but I'm not sure without some definition.

Whichever you feel more affinity towards, go with.

Personally, I've always thought that nerds were more math and science oriented, while geeks are lean more towards video games, comics, or movie stuff. Not to say either can't study or know the other's portfolio, just that we tend to specialize.

The whole bugs hitting ass first could partly be because many times the bug is flying parallel to the car, it gets in front of the car, but the car goes faster than the bug, and catches up to the bug, and the bug goes splat.

Just my thought.
