I'm not gonna laugh at you... Sleeping arrangements are very important. Had similar trouble with some girls. One elbowed me in the nose every time I got out of or back into bed.

Try moving the bed to the opposite wall, so your side is open. That might help...

Also, because I'm still a monster, apply hatchet to cat. Butt in face is an inexcusable offense.

CT's kind of the...er... abusive type. In a way, I'm somewhat glad he's away on business until September. My skin colour isn't a mix of brown, black, yellow, purple and blue :D. He squirms a lot and usually ends up punching me- HARD or kicking me so I'm limping the next day. Of course he feels awful, but damn! I think I need to give him a heavy sedative in his tea before bed.

I might try that, thank-you! For now, It's fine where it is. The kitty-butt thing doesn't really get to me that much- just in the morning time. I could apply hatchet to kitty. He's the only thing that isn't making me go bonkers! Oh jeez. I swear to Mechabuddah that my 2nd room mate is like a devil's joke! He's disgusting, kind of a jerk and a nosy bugger! Yesterday while playing P4, CT called me and I was downstairs- having a general chat. I told him that David Carradine passed away, and after we were done on the phone, Mr. Room mate kept quizzing me on the subject. Now something like that, doesn't really bother me; But I have CAUGHT HIM 3 TIMES NOW EAVESDROPPING ON MY CONVOS FROM THE STAIRCASE! He just sits there and listens in on my convos!!! So anyway, to yesterday:

I asked him why he feels to need to listen in my my convos and he goes " Well it's kind of hard not to listen to your end of what you're saying!" The hells?! If he's on the phone, I make it my top priority not to eavesdrop. It's rude and a violation of one's privacy. It's gotten so bad that if I talk to someone- I usually have to leave the house and go across the street to the park! UGH!

Any pointers? ( P.S. The dude's extremely depressed and sensitive. Him Depressed= another week of not showering. No joke). Also. This is one of MANY things he's done >.<" I'm losing my mind!

Well when I get depressed I don't shave for a while or I just mope around. If you want my advice just ask him whats wrong and tell him to ease off. Maybe he has a thing for you and is trying to jump in while your boyfriend is out of town.

This is a very good case for getting a little Lawful Evil on this guy's ass.
Inform him that he offends you by listening in on phone conversations, and that his personal hygiene is atrocious. Make it abundantly clear that he is making himself unwelcome in your home. Resist the urge to get emotional (angry) when be whines, and stay frosty. Or apply hatchet to him. Either's good.

Well I'm okay with general moping around. I don't care if he mopes, I can just ignore that. But it's a TON of things that I cannot ignore. Oh trust me, I HAVE asked him what's up and he shrugs it off. He's furious at me because I became friends with his ex-girlfriend again. ( They broke up over a year ago and he still tries to pursue her!).He DOES NOT have a thing for me. That much I know! These are the things ( in point form) of what he's done since May 10th:

- Leaves his shit lying around and in the way
- Eavesdrops on ALL my phone convos ( doesn't matter who I'm talking to)
- Butts in convos with me and my friends when they're over.
- Makes fun of my friends ( ie/ Rhystcracker came over & noted that he breathes "heavily". Like seriously- why point it out??)
- Doesn't shower ( hasn't for currently 3 weeks)
- Leaves food in pots/ plates and they end up molding.
- Wouldn't let my cat use his litterbox
- Wipes his drool/ snot on the couch pillows and on the blankets downstairs
- Doesn't rinse dishes
- Leaves crumbs/ food on the floor or carpet ( this includes pop that he's spilled)
- Leaves the TV, Soundsystem and Consoles on all night
- Does not lock the front door/ close screen door
- Leaves lights on when he's not in the room.
- Destroyed CT's boxset of Astroboy that he lent him 2 years ago- It's also missing a disc which he claims " has no idea where it could be."

It drives me insane! I have asked him over and over to stop or try to make an effort to stop doing these things, but it goes in one ear and out the other! I'm stuck with him because I don't want to back out on an agreement we made back in March ( he can live at my place til September 1st). UGH! And the worst thing is that whenever I tell him to try and make an effort, he either screams at me saying that "I'm not his mother" or gets even MORE depressed and does even more SHIT to bug me! This has also pissed off my other room mate to no end >.<"

I did tell him yesterday about the eavesdropping and the general hygiene. I already told you guys what he said about the eavesdropping, and with the hygiene he says "whenever I go to shower, all the cold water's gone.. or someone's in there". Now; I replied to him that both are simply untrue. I shower everyday- yes; but I'm not in there ALL DAY nor do I use up all the hot water! Same with my other room mate who showers every 2nd or 3rd day. *Sighs* I try to reason with him- without getting angry, but it doesn't ever seem to sink in.

I think one of these days I will snap and apply hatchet to his thick skull!

Well he needs some help seriously I mean I have gone a day or two without bathing mainly because of my shitty work schedule not allowing me to sleep and stuff, but 3 three weeks...hell even week is over the top for not bathing. He seems very sexually frustrated or either he is just mental snapped and lost grip on reality.

He used to go to counciling, but for some reason stopped. All he really does now is sit on my couch and play City of Heroes, go to work, sleep and make a mess in between. I have offered to go do things with him but he usually always declines. As for the sexually frustrated- we talked about that a long while ago before he decided that "I'm a bitch" <------ ( He thinks I am because for a while he was telling me and CT things about his ex that lead us to believe that she was using him, which wasn't the case. He was "leaving parts" out; hence making us dislike her & apparently with us disliking how he was being treated by her, that made him pissed off at us. Yeah.. I don't get it either.) Anyway; he can't seem to get over his ex girlfriend and well.. that makes him even more depressed because he doesn't WANT to get over here aka- won't make an effort to meet other girls.. :S

I'm stuck lol.

How goes it today, oh wise and naughty leader?

It goes well indeed. I feel at liberty now to say I am in the process of courting a nerd boy of my very own. He lives a few states away and we have known each other a few years and been building things up more romantically over the past few months. He is very attractive and *dun dun DUN!!!*...a younger man.

So we shall see how things go, for the time being his moniker is Mr 23, and he is an avid comic book reader/collector, gamer, cosplayer (OMFG he looks good too!!!!), paintballer, same tastes in films and comedy as me.... all I need to do is get him hooked on Firefly.

He also does a vocal impression of Snake Plissken that makes me writhe. *dreamy sigh*

So here is to hoping that all will go well.

I suggest you approach it like Supernanny does. Not sure if you get that show up in the great white north, but she works wonders with really problem families.

Maybe you can set up a chart system for everyone in the household and make different people responsible for different things on different days. That way you are never telling him to do things, it is simply a calender on the wall that say this needs to be done as a reminder.

Since you don;t want to be the end point for the aggression it might help, plus I found for me personally (as I am notorious for forgetting to do things) having a list to keep things in order really does help me.

Not sure if that will help but if he can accomplish a few things it should improve his self esteem and when that goes up everything tends to get better.

Just my suggestion. And best of luck!

I think we do get it.. god it's been 8 years since I've had TV :D

I'll give it an definite shot, and thank-you! But just to make sure, what if it doesn't work out? ( I don't want to sound crude, but he is a bit of a trouble maker.. and there is the possibility that he might even ignore the calender completely)

Thank-you for your kind words Empy-chan. I shall make a calender tonight and notify him of it. I shall report back in 1 week :D

I hope it works! Just gotta try approaching it in a "Hey look what we all are gonna try for the betterment of all of us" kinda thing. So that way he doesn't feel specifically targeted. Might even want to get his input (even if you don't use it he'll feel more involved just by you asking for it) when you put stuff together. I'll keep all now used appendages crossed for you!

Thank you! I am hoping for the best as well, though at the present we are trash talking each other over who will beat whom in a game of battleship.

I stunned him into silence with this:

"It's only a game, and not really a reflection on your masculinity no matter how badly you lose."
"I'll still think of your as a man."

It doesn't have anything with my relationship *laughs* If anything; both my 1st room mate and my boyfriend are angels compared to Mr. walking disaster!
You think I'm doing a good job? Well thank-you, sincerely. There are days that I question that though :S

Thanks Empy! I shall heed your advice and march into battle!

*laughs* Maybe he's thinking " Damn.. what the hell do I say to that?". I seriously doubt he's going to throw everything you two built up because he can't take a little criticism. I must admit, He might of considered it a blow to his "masculinity." Men are silly like that. There's been countless times that I have unintentionally hurt Christian without meaning to. If he doesn't respond back after 20 minutes, tell him your sincerest apologies- and add that it was a joke. Also; make him feel all macho ^-^"

Yeah your doing a damn good job, you need to lay down the law a little harder though, in other words it's time to go She-Hulk on his ass. If it were me I would lost it a long time ago.

I have an upcoming date with a very attractive nerdy male, but here's the question, if they have a history (a sexual relationship) with someone else I know (not a friend, but an acquaintence) what are the rules/limitations? I know the situation between them was recent, although I don't think it's still ongoing, but I could be wrong.

But it was all trash talk.... I feel like apologizing is back stepping almost. I did inquire as to if he was offended by it though. So we shall see.

Edit: All is well, he had stepped away form the computer with out letting me know.

Oh! This I know!

Friend- NO NO NO!
Acquaintance- If they no longer have a sexual relationship together, then it's fair game. If they do, it's best to back off- you don't need that in your life, it basically points to a (possible) cheater. Also; if they just broke off their sexual relationship fairly recently ( max 1 month) then it's best to take it slow, become just buddies for now. If it's more than a month, then it's considered open game. If he really digs you, and she calls for some booty time with this guy ( and he refuses) then good for you!! If he doesn't, well then you know your answer.

My best advice is go for it, see how it works out and don't get too attach. The more attached you get- the worse it'll be if he IS continuing a relationship- with you both.

Good luck Vessy!!! I hope this guy isn't a creep.

Thank-god!

Also, that isn't really back-stepping, it's showing that you actually have the balls to apologize, and take responsibility. If you didn't, he might see you in a different light that you don't want to intend.

Well the girl in question is someone I don't like in a lot of ways, so the fact that he's been with her kind of bugs me, largely cause I don't find her attractive at all.

But she's poly, and I know isn't looking for a relationship with him, and I don't see how he could want one with her, to be honest. Not to say I'm looking for one either, I'm just interested in meeting someone new, and seeing where it goes. But I wouldn't seek more than a friendship if he is still seeing her in any capacity. But from all I've talked to him, he's smart, funny, interesting, totally my type looks wise, and he's the first guy I've been interested in meeting and seems to reciprocate in a while, so we'll see.
