Here in Canada we're working on the nerd/geek/jock hybrid. It's slow going. And after this year's gaming conference, I have to say that the real reason the nerds/geeks will die out is has something to do with candy bars, red bull, and LARP hats with antlers attached.

A little personal grooming would go a long way, too. I'm sure the other 4 girls at the conference would agree.....

While I don't do the transformation sound effect, I'll often find myself quoting moments from all continuities around my friends, and even by myself. And, yes, Shattered Glass is very intriguing. Given it involves Classics Cliffjumper winding up in the mirrorverse, I'm guessing Axiom Nexus of Transtech plays a big part in how he got there in the first place. Too bad I wasn't at Botcon to get the comic.

Hey ReiRei, what does the Korean in your sig image say?

So, I just bought BioShock and Call of Duty 4. Having lots of fun with both games. Also doing pretty well in class, but I need to focus a bit more in a few areas.

But yesh, Call of Duty 4, I'm having a LOT of fun here. Instead of doing one campaign for each country, you do a mixed campaign switching back and forth between different units as the plot progresses. So far I've been SAS, Marine Force Recon, and even USAF (gunner in an AC-130)

The achievements are fun so far, for the most part. COD4 gives the darned things out like candy (You survived the training mission! Have an achievement!) That said, the ones you get for actually doing stuff are fun. I got an achievement for saving a buddy at some scripted moment when a bad guy jumps on him as we came around a corner, and I got another achievement for swatting four bad guys at once with the 105mm in the AC-130.

BioShock, so far, I've only gotten one achievement: "Toaster In The Bathtub", for using the electrocute attack on someone who was standing in the water.
