I've been meaning to get some roses for a whiles.. that rose pic was taken 3 years ago.. christmas time of 2003 (December 24th actually, I only snapped it because I was amazed to see roses in full bloom in December!!!)

Ya should see it in colorado, at the local cemetery [a nice outdoor studio too!] the rose bushes are pretty much in constant bloom

It snows in colorado but it also gets to 70 degrees in mid december... and yes roses are kinda hearty, especially the well developed bushes that grow up here.
