STEVE INSKEEP, HOST: Good morning, I'm Steve Inskeep with an opportunity for python hunters. South Florida officials tell The Tampa Bay Times they are hiring 25 people to kill the snakes in the Everglades. The job pays just over eight bucks an hour plus a bonus. If you kill a python, you are paid by the foot. The state web page with frequently asked questions says you must have a clean record, no wildlife-related offenses.

Can you use a firearm? Yes. Can you bring in the pythons live? No.

Missing Indonesian Man Found Inside Python

(Deutsche Welle) A farmer who went missing on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi was found inside the belly of a python on Wednesday. 25-year-old Akbar went missing three days earlier while tending to his family's palm oil fields.

His family grew concerned when he failed to return home, and villagers began to fear the worst when some of his possessions were found abandoned on the farm alongside scattered palm fruit.

"We were immediately suspicious that the snake had swallowed Akbar because around the site we found palm fruit, his harvesting tool and a boot," said town official Junaedi.

Locals then noticed the seven-meter (24 foot) snake on the outskirts of town looked swollen and was slithering awkwardly. They cut open the serpent's belly to reveal that it had swallowed the young man whole...

We love the Florida Everglades. We camped there for weeks at a time, even way down in Flamingo. Saw lots of Gators and snakes. But if we'd ever seen a Python I'd shit my pants and never gone back.

Now for me This is another creepy scenario. Not as awful as the one about the indonesian man, but still.

Imagine wanting to relieve yourself, and finding a rattlesnake in your toilet!
((They were so lucky. After this incident, authorities found 25 more rattlesnakes under their house!))
