Need some technical help, please

I had an idea that a duet audio could get really hot, and we have a working script, but we are having trouble puting the logistics together. Short of phyically travelling to her place, we haven't been able to figure out how to get it together.

Is there some software that would let me record my parts, and then edit in her replys? Can this be done by using attachments on emails? Would it be best to use mp3 files, or would some other format be best. It seems that there ought to be an easy way to do this, but I can't wrap my mind arround it.

Anyway, if we can get it figgered out, I think that there will be some interesting enterainment for all of us.

Pick up Cool Edit. It is easy to use, you can cut, paste, add, delete, stretch, speedup, and manipulate Mp3's or Wav's til your little heart is content.
