As of late my curiousity has been piqued by the changing of orientations, conversion or turning if you will. I've began writing a small series which shares that thematic element of gay to straight, or straight to gay, but I've run into problems when it comes to gays/lesbians turning straight, the latter in particular. I need some inspiration, so I began looking for stories on the subject...

I've exhausted all key-words I can think off for the search function, so this is my last resort:

I'm looking for reccomendations on stories where a lesbian is 'converted' by a male.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's a pretty controversial area, as I understand it, and one that can cause a lot of people offence.

A rather good movie with this theme is Chasing Amy, directed by Kevin Smith. It's not entirely serious, mind you, and not an erotic film, but it does actually look into the psychology of the issue a little - strange for a Kevin Smith movie.

Just don't in any way infer that one person is 'curing' the other, whatever you do. That's about the most offensive thing you can imply in this area.

I would look up the Christian Right. They have implemented several such "scared straight" programs in an alchemic attempt to make strip-club lovin' frat boys of homos, and turn butch bulldykes into hearth-lovin' homemakers.

You might try looking under "ex-gay" or "post-gay" as I believe they are then identified.

However, these are the only cases I have heard that purport actual "turning" of gays to straightness.

I personally don't buy it; there's a lot of sexual cross-pollination- I confess to having wound up in a giddy sexual Romper Room type situation with a gay friend and a straight guy- but, and like most sexual experiences, luring someone over to see how the other half lives merely consists of plain old seduction.

The easiest way to run this kind of story line, to my thinking, would be to make it a "first time" kind of story. If our hero (or heroine) has his or her entire experience in the gay/lesbian arena, then falls in love with someone of the opposite sex, it could work. It may also work in a threesome, sort of a reverse of the straight-to-gay scenario, but a lot less plausible.
