The best I can get out of anyone right now is "resting comfortably."

My grandmother says she isn't in pain- my mom says they have her on enough morphine to numb an elephant, so of course she's not in pain.

She's still on oxygen but has been insisting on getting up for things like showers and toilet. Family trait- we refuse to lay down and be still for anything.

Well, no newsw is good news I guess.

I've got fingers crossed and candles burning. A little more news- they have her off everything but pain meds and O2, and the doctors are still waiting for a firm diagnosis from the pulmonary specialist and some other person. They changed their earlier opinions from LAM to uncertain what it is, LAM is one of a number of possibilities now. Results should be in next week they say- they've done biopsies and cultures and gods know what else.

Maybe we're really all just panicking and it's something stupid. I'm hoping, hoping, hoping.
