Hope someone can help me put a link in my sig line. . .

Here is what I enter in Edit Profile: (for purposes of posting here I've changed the beginning "<" and ending ">" to "#", just to make sure you can see the http):

#a href="https://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1***42">Wet Blonde's Swimming Pool</a#

After I submit modifications, then go back into Edit Profile, the thread ID is always changed to 1***42, instead of staying as 1***42.

Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong? thanks!

I see that even posting here, the same problem is created.

My thread id is: 1 6 5 3 4 2 (i have to space the numbers here to show the problem, otherwise it will show up here - and everywhere - as: 1***42

Three Lit members who a pretty knowledgable have, at this point, spent hours trying to solve this. I hope someone here can help. thanks!

Hmmm - from the looks of things, you're trying to use HTML to post the link, when the URL code is what is needed.

Try putting the following in your sig line (removing the *, and substituting the thread number for the ???):

[*url=https://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=???]Wet Blonde's Swimming Pool[*/url]

This should create a link reading:

Wet Blonde's Swimming Pool

that will take you to the specified thread.

Hope this helps you out :D

PS: Damn - it REALLY doesn't like that thread ID! It won't let it into the code field at all (changes it to the 1***42). All I can suggest is to try contacting the webmaster... if it would accept the thread ID number, the codes I gave above would work (as you can see, I created the link - and it tried to link to thread 1***42). Sorry :(
