I tried to publish a story two weeks ago and it was rejected within a day for age (unmentioned in the story because that's cringe but they're seniors in high school and as we all know most people turn 18 at that time unless they skipped a grade). So anyway the story was rejected, so I added a disclaimer and resubmitted. It's been over a week and a half and there's no traction. It published fine on d2d with a disclaimer, it's just that I stripped off the disclaimer and everything else before the story started and I guess the scan didn't take kindly to that. I don't need editing, just someone to vouch. 6k, straight, no fetishes

This topic has been addressed many times and your problem is the words "high school". Contrary to what you say, only about half of high school seniors are 18 when they graduate. That means that depending upon the time frame you state or imply, about half of high school seniors are still 17 during their senior year and therefore do not meet the age requirements for Literotica stories. That is what probably generated the rejection.

As for a disclaimer, I don't believe whatever software Literotica is using to detect rules violations is sophisticated enough to apply a disclaimer to the rest of the story.

Why not just change "high school" to "freshman in college", unless you really want to imply that the character(s) are underage?

He resubmitted it and it went through no problem. There wasn't even any sex in the chapter he submitted. It was more or less a chapter that was purely establishing the characters, setting, and situation.

"High school" doesn't automatically trigger a rejection. I've used it multiple times without issue.

You need to be very clear about the ages. Anything that suggests underage will be flagged. It happened with my story The Girl Next Door, which is about college students, but there's a reference to the fact that they've been friends since first grade. I simply added a couple of sentences (as seamlessly as possible) to clarify that they were of age, and the story was then approved.

You might want to check and see if you're clear enough on the ages. Be explicit.
