Blue, you could easily resize in MS Photo Editor which probably have if you've got MS software.

Try using this free download it is so easy to use , I usually save my pics at 640 x 480 hope that helps

I found photogear and some other picture program on my computer, but it only lets me resize it according to pixils, and I don't know the conversion rates that way for AV size and posting size for pictures.

edited to add: for furture reference so I don't have to bug the masters of resizing... what are the conversion sizes, or round'abouts when they as for pixils?

640X480 is about the largest I think, or 102,000bytes, if its to large you'll get a notice, just back up, reopen, size down a tad and try again till it accepts

Further to that I sometimes find adjusting the brightness of the pic helps

Believe me, I'm not even close to being an expert but the easiest way without programs etc. is to open a free Yahoo mail account. Get the pics on your desktop. At the bottom you'll see a link for photos. Click it and open an album. You can drag all photos into the album and then click a pic, click edit if you want to lighten, darken, use tints etc. You don't really have to crop-the pic will automatically be smaller and fit perfectly. Click save and then name it and place it back on your desktop or whereever and post it. Play around with it-it works pretty easy. Photoshop and everything else people are talking about is better but for me, I'm too stupid to figure any of it out-maybe someday Looking forward to seeing what you post
