Hi Folks,
I'm still in desperate need of some Tech help at Literotica. Right now I've got 77 approved poems, and 1 pending 3 part story that I want to check the "Public Comment Board" yes, but it won't let me. Every time I try to check these "yes," and click on the button to make these changes permanent, after an extremely long time of nothing happening, it returns me to a completely blank page status. I'm not that PC smart, but I'm thinking this is something that has to be rectified at the website. I was advised to send a private message to Manu, but when I tried that I got an electronic message advising me that Manu is no longer receiving private messages, and any problems should be directed to the Webmaster. I have sent more than one plea for help, but never even gotten an acknowledgement of receipt of my Email. This is so frustrating because I dearly love checking out the "Public Comments" that are sent by readers. I even enjoy the bad ones as sometimes a little critique can be helpful if honestly given. I'm hoping that someone reading this would have the kindness to pass this along to someone who can get this fixed for me. I'm expecting my second story, both by the way, involve family relations,) to be approved before too long, and I'd dearly love the "Public Comment Board" checked yes before it is! Thanks for any help given!
Sincerely,
Uncle Pervey

I'm not a tech guru. I'm the equivalent of Homer Simpson using a sledgehammer to fix a toaster, resulting in a time-toaster. :)

That being said, the best I can think of is that it may be a browser-related problem. Which one are you using? Are cookies enabled? Did you or the webmaster happen to block that specific page on accident?

A long and pointless solution would be to try and download a new browser. See if that changes anything. A work-around solution would be to go to the story search page and find your own stories and click on them to read the public comments at the end.

There is also a remote chance that there is some sort of conflict going on with a spyware program (or, heaven forbid, a virus) preventing the page from displaying properly.

Again, these are just ideas that pop into mind. Without getting my hands on the machine itself, I'm as clueless as you. Good luck though!

Thanks to whomever!

Thanks for the help received! Whomever did it, I'm back on line and checking my public comments like crazy, grin! Thanks again!
