I am just starting out...although I have written for a fetish site before. My stories though are generally more the erotic romance and often have other themes such as older women/younger men. Almost all are also interracial...so if that isn't your cup of tea...

Any help greatly appreciated...

You might get a better response if you specify the help you feel you need with your story (e.g. grammar only, grammar and continuity, etc.), and its length (in words) as these factors play a large part in a volunteer editor's decision whether to offer help.

Thanks Snooper for the advice...

My stuff tends to be novel length...although I am happy to have an editor only do 1 or 2 chapters (between 2000 and 4000 words each). I do need some help with the grammar & punctuation, but just the stuff that spell check does not catch...usually only two or three per chapter.

What I really need, in addition to the wonderful feedback I get from readers, is a literary perspective. My aspirations are more towards erotica than porn and I focus a great deal on characterisation. So those types of insight would be highly valued.

As I said, although my stories may cross categories there will almost always be element of interracial (just because the heroes in my life are really hot blk men). I have a couple of guys who have volunteered to help me with writing from that viewpoint. But ideally, the editor would need to either enjoy reading interracial or at the very least be tolerant of it. In complete honesty I have been reluctant to place my stories in other categories simply because of a thread I saw on here about receiving negative feedback based on that issue alone.

So while my current post, Lizzie's Awakening, actually is more appropriate for the novel or romance categories I went with the safety of interracial. But I hope to eventually mature as an author with the help of my gracious editor/s to the point that my characters are so compelling that race is not the primary issue (as I have found to be the real case in my transracial marriage...and many of my friends).
