Yes, I am new to writing erotica. I have written or at least started about 20 stories. I began publishing some on the site this past Monday. The first post "Helen and the Bus Driver" was written as it was told to me, so yes, it is largely a true story. I've taken a lot of heat for the content (cheating wife) etc but it really is based on a true story. So I will accept the heat, no big deal.
Second story, today, third tomorrow, followed the next day and the next.
So I am sure you get the picture as I've written the stories, edited countless times myself, turned them over to the wife to edit and yet we have still missed mistakes. I know I need an editor.
When I first started writing I started emailing looking for volunteer editors on this site. I've only had three replies out of maybe 50 requests. Everyone else decided not to even reply with a yes or no answer.
The three that did reply have not replied since the first time. What gives? My stories fit into the categories they are interested in, however, they have chosen not to reply.
Why volunteer if you have no interest in helping anyone? I am a long time reader on the website and realize my stories may need to enhanced a little but isn't that what a good editor will help with?
My wife and I both have our Masters, so yes we are educated. Although creative writing, as much as it interests me, is not my strong point. I do feel that the more I write the better I will become.
Is there anyone out there willing to help a newbie?
