You're welcome - head for the 'playground' if you want to boost your post total quickly. Welcome to Lit and have fun. :)

Here you go Usul - welcome to Lit. Get posting so you can use this as an AV.

Thank you very much Cathleen. If I can return the favor, which I doubt I can because we are in cyberspace, you probably don't need any body parts licked, and I am evidently computer illiterate, but regardless just ask. Thanks again.

just found this thread... and thought I'd throw my skills in the ring.... if anybody needs almost anything done to an image... wether it be resizing, converting , or putting special effects into it... just pm me... I love to tweak graphics.... I prob won't check back here a lot but do check my mail freq.....

Mods, how can I add a picture to my avatar? In my options it only says that I can't have an avatar or something like that.

You need 100 posts to enable avatars -- 1000 posts to enable the custom title.

I would appreciate some help, please. :)

Thanks in advance!

Edit to add: Okay, it's actually too big to post. :( Damnit. lol Would someone be willing to let me email it to them?

I just used the IrfanView.com program. It is easy - which is a good thing for me.

This one might be tough, but I'd love to have it as my AV

Animated GIFs don't require resizing, they require a complete redesign or editing to make the 15KB file size limit for an avatar. That animation has too many full frames to be an avatar here -- removing enough frames to make it useable would change it too much for it to be considered the same animation.

Would like to use this pic but it is too big, any help would be appreciated

Can someone help??

I would eventually like to use this pic........but as my luck would have it, it is too large. I would greatly appreciate any help with the resizing!!! :nana: :rose:

I need to get this photo resized, I wonder what Cate would think.

Cate make it stop............LOL.

That's not a photo, it's an animation and I don't think you'll be able to make it useable as an avatar.

You can try GIFworks.com, but I'm pretty sure you'r going to have to shrink the dimensions down to the point the images are unrecogniseable, or chop out two of every three frames which will make the animation jerky.

Is it possible to have a moving .jpeg animation?

I honestly don't know -- I don't think I've ever seen one, so I don't think it can be done; at last not in the context of an avatar. I've seen some phraseology that suggest that some programs can store multiple images in a single JPeG file that suggest that in some contexts JPeG animations are possible, but I don't think most browsers support them.
