I don't know that you can reduce that animated GIF and keep the animation. If anybody knows how to do it, please post!

Try this.

As you can see, the size limitation of AVs (150 x 150 max resolution) means some nice pics will lose much of their attraction when shrunk.

Thanks Kayte, tried uploading it but I get an error message saying that it's the wrong file type. It'll only open as an archived webfile. I just saved it the normal way but maybe I'm doing something wrong? I just traded my Mac for a Vaio laptop so it's likely to be my bad

Hmmm, have you saved the attachment to your harddrive and then uploaded that from the Edit Avatar choice?

Now I am confused as I just made it my AV and it was fine.

I will be putting my AV back though as that is what He prefers to see.
