Hi,

I'm roleplaying in Second Life, and have just become a pole dancer.. *grins*
The thing is, while my avatar does a great job of dancing, she needs to be talking to her audience... which may be only one person, or several.. but she has to talk to them and also describe what she's doing as she dances on the pole......

It's my intention to get really good at this. I could use some killer phrases or even just words.. good adjectives.. etc..
Anyone here interested in giving me a little help? I might be able to make it worth your time if you come up with something good for me. *winks*

Thanks for your consideration. :)

Take a trip to the local strip club and watch and listen...it's called research. ;)

It is an artform and requires a lot of study before it looks authentic. And even then, I have seen amateurs do it very poorly indeed. Make it a point to go to an exclusive gentleman's club with a high rating (check your local city guide). Don't go low-end because you will get exactly what you pay for: nothing.

My daughter-in-law is a stripper and has several books on pole dancing...take a trip to your local adult book store. That might help you.

Excellent suggestion, Zeb.

Still though, I think that seeing it done is the best way to get a real taste for it, IMHO.;)

Oh, and one tip: It's all about your eye contact with the person you're dancing for.

Thanks, and your right, seeing it done is better but reading a book before seeing it done gives you a little insight into the moves being made. As far as dialog between you and the audience members, that's really up to you.

The eye contact thing is good suggestion too. And at least look like your listening to them, even if your not.

It's true, but...........

Hummmmm.....

Not a lot of pole dancing in my neck of The Great White North, so I can't think of anything hot that a dancer would say. I wouldn't suggest going with...

Damn!! Gravity's a bitch!!
